sounds good... hope meets are normally on weekends... coz I'm a Software Engineer toiling away in front of the comp mostly during the time when others are having fun....
BTW... i hope we have some modders among us... I'm getting impatient with the stock staus of ma bike...

even My RTR160 is completely stock for the past 1.5 yrs!!..there is a good modder->Vivek amongst us...will help you meet him soon coz he dont visit xbhp quite often....

Not the engine right now... but I got to ante up the headlights... I return from office at the devils hours, and I need some HID lighting to see my way... hehe... well, if not HID atleast something that upward of 55W... and when am at it, may be the horn too... to a more "frightening" one...

Also, have you tried the Nitrogen filling (tyres)... I did last week... but not sure if that guy used the correct figures... he did 26 and 33.. saying +1 from recommended is what they normally do... I've felt no diff though...

i m having the 55w white light in mine...but lighting is not good as the alternator set up is suited only for 35W ...so if you want full gain from 55W, u need to convert it to DC i guess...check out the let there be lights thread...or go for a 35W white philips light..
One of my friend who have got a yellow RTR180 recently also tried filling nitrogen..he said there was diference in it(better cushioning effect). b4 getting HID n projectors, wait for some time..one of our members tintu is also looking out for it for his R15..

btw i ve alwayz felt that RTR had the best horns among indian bikes n i lovd that sound than any other

... yeah.. i was thinking of tweaking or replacing the alternator... (which is way i asked for modders)... and as per the info i gathered, converting to DC has its own problems? no idea...
abt horns, yes its good... but not enough to convince KSTRC busses....

nice to see some good chitchat here after a loong time...hehe...hey lijo bhayi...well...i'l col u that way...i'm the juniorxbhpian here... nice to see your enthusiasm...so now we have 2 rtrz with us eh....varun got company...hoping to see some more....till now pulsars ruled...hehe...times change...hey varun...i beg to differ on the horn comment....IMO i thnk pulsar stock horn is the loudest and sweetest of all stock horns of indian bikes!

Im Sudeep frm TVM. I was a silent browser of xBhp for quite a long while now.'m doing my 3rd year B.Tec in Sarabhai Inst. Of Science n Tech. Vellanad and stayin @ Kannammoola.

Ive always wanted to join the G2Gs @ TVM and I am constantly get the trip log of the G2G frm my buddy varun(varunRTR).But As I didnt have a proper ride I stayed away from it. Now that I will b gettin my ride in a couple of days(HOPEFULLY) I would love to join u guys.

another resurected xbhpian....welcome sudeep....and..which is gonna be ur new ride?? and...hey..i live near kannamoola too....at vadayakkad jn..

Dont fight...

now now... dont fight over the horns.... good, bad, fast etc are all relative words... The horns of Pulsar and RTR are equally powerfull, but IMO they 'sound' diff...
yes, i like the idea of the govt car horns... but then where will I fit a car battery in ma bike... hehe...
