Guys, its time to decide upon the I day ride. Discussions are heating up in FB page and discussions from praveen chettan are pouring. he has suggested 2 routes, out of which only the first one seems possible for us to do in one day, say we start at 5 o clock from kesavadasapuram and come back before 9 !!

Suggestion 1. Thiruvananthapuram>Adoor>Ranni>Mundakayam>Peermedu>PARUNTHUMPARA>Peermedu>Kuttikkanam>Memala>Madammakkulam>Kuttikkanam>Mundakkayam>Ranni>Adoor>Thiruvananthapuram
Around 390 KMs

Suggestion 2. Thiruvananthapuram>Adoor>Kottayam>Pala>Muttom>Kanjar>Pullikkanam>Vagamon>Elappara>Memala>Madammakkulam>Kuttikkanam>Peerumedu>PARUNTHUMPARA>Peermedu>Kuttikkanam>Mundakkayam>Ranni>Adoor>Thiruvananthapuram
Around 500 KMs

So i suggest 14th of august(pakistan's independence day ) for the ride, as it falls on sunday and we can have rest on monday. I am sure many would suggest saturday, if majority goes for it, we can have it on that day, but i cant come along due to prior appointments !! so try on sunday !

i would strongly recommend for suggestion 2... because i had a trip to Thodupuzha one week back...on return i took the Ranni route and believe me the road was pretty bad ...i had a tough time managing that

I wld strongly suggest this route. But with a slight change. instead of kanjar>pullikanam>wagamon, better is kanjar>moolamatom>pullikanam>wagamon. the originaly suggested route will be pure off roading. moolamatm-wagamn route (24 km) is one of a kind. just awesome. must try that out.
Moreover, u guys wl b riding via right infront of my home..
