  • @Kichu: IMO the street racer sticker along with Xbhp gives a bad impression about xbhp, as a racing team. I would like to point out that Xbhpians does not support or even worse is against traffic light GPs and street racing.
No offense meant, but we(the whole group) does not wish to be labelled as street racers by people.

There are some worst scenes happening on our roads. As a regular commuter on kovalm bypass I have noticed some life-threatening attitudes from lorry drivers and bus drivers. They will spit or fly paper objects sideways to the rear while you are there & waiting for passing signal/overtaking.
Basically I don't know why they are doing and what they will gain in this either. Already I had 4-5 bad experiences and saw other bikers struggling with it too. While spitting you can't do nothing with it because of no clue at first.
Anyone can imagine victims state of mind at that moment. There won't be any clear proof to show its their saliva on our helmets. How can you punish them?. They have a knack to doing it accurate. Now it become a habit among lorry drivers especially. Do anybody experienced of it?

Overtaking heavy vehicles on normal roads is a hit or miss game so make sure you got attention of the driver before attempting an overtake.
              only one solution possible..
Give a loooong horn or enough "pass-by" to declare your intention before overtaking such vehicles

Those are rules and anytime i'll follow that. Here im concerning about their attitudes. Even im afraid to make long horns at times bcoz its like we are triggering the bulk lot incoming.

Couldn't get for test ride, actually I didn't ask for one since I thought it's just a display!
But checked out all three bikes (GT650R, GT650N and the mammoth ST7)
I were never a fan of cruisers except for a very few models and ST7 once more made it strong. Man this machine is heavy and its really heavy at ~244kg dry weight(The owner certainly need to be a well built person to roll it forward/backward on slight inclines, so not for me ). But it's one hell of an attention grabber and eye candy.. The GTs doesn't fare well in looks department when ST7 is beside.

as per the info given by them, the onroad price for the models are:
GT650N: 4.4 lakhs (they give a massive 50k discount for first 50 bookings)
GT650R: 5.2 lakhs (dual tone will be dearer by 17k more)
                          ST7: 7.xx lakhs(sorry poor memory )

not only for the first 50 bookings, they recently slashed the price of GT650N by 65K, cheap business trick by the executive, but thee offer on GT650R is new
