The state of the road after the recent rains at Chevella

We had breakfast at Chevella and started towards the destination. Immediately after 4 km, the R-15 back tyre lost air due to a bent and crracked rim. We got the R-15 back to Chevella and put a tube inside the rear tyre and inflated it. I suggested to go ahead with the trip as planned and assued it would hold the air and would not be a problem. Around 12 km before Vikarabad, we took left towards Parigi and after 5 km, entered our route to the destination. Here are the pics.

I started from home at 6.10am instead of the planned 5.45am. So i started ripping at 65-75kmph. Got a message from ravikiran that he just started from home at 6.20am, understood that everyone was late.I had abt another 12kms to go. So i rode at my comfortable speed. My bike fell in reserve. I was a little concerned abt my bike as it was leaking oil for a longtime from the oil filter cap. I found tht the Threading for the bolts had gave way. Had to remove the chamber from the engine and give at the lathe machine to get it fixed. I did'nt find enough time to do it before the ride. I got it tightened with a TVS svc near my home and was carrying a bottle of castrol aciv 4t just in case if it gives way.

I reached the BP petrol bunk at 6.40am. But i found only Yaser Bhai there. We chatted chatted and chatted abt various things. But no sign of anyone. Finally at 8am Raghu(booo) came on KP's R15 and then ravi(ravi@17bhp) with KP as pillion finally Ravikiran on his PEE220 with a tractor tyre. We chatted for a few mins. Filled up petrol and air and started off after bidding bye to yaser who wanted to come along with us but had other commitments for the day. Raghu was wearing his RSA t-shirt which found after a longtime

It was first decided that Ravi and Kp would be leadin while me and raghu ride behind them and ravikiran sweeping and all this not exceeding 70kmph. Ravikirans face was like. Imagine Ravikiran riding all the way at 70kmph. Started off while KP kept clicking pics of us. Rode sanly for a few kms after which ravikiran and raghu lost patiance and started ripping. I was riding along with KP and ravi. I too lost paitance after sometime will ravikiran slowed down and was riding along with ravi. Me and raghu kept ripping. And surprisingly this time i was able to keep up with the R15.

Both of us stopped at chevella. And guess where we stopped. We stopped at a hotel, udupi hotel i guess. We both kept discussing abt the R15 and abt my bike.I checked the oil filter cap. It was holding good.No leaks. Raghu was a bit pissed off with the probiking's pathetic servicing. It was then we both realised that Kp's R15 has'nt opened up complelty.This explains why i was able to keep up with raghu all the way. Got a message from Kp to find a good hotel for all of us to munch BF, breakfast that is. Duh! we had already found one:P

KP and ravi's arrive after a very longtime. They had a small photo/pee stop. we went in munched poori's, idlies, vada's and dosa's. finished it with coffee and some cool drinks.

We discussed abt R15 vs P220. Raghu spoke a lot abt high octane petrol's and how the normal unleaded petrol are best suited for our bikes Learnt a lot on that day.

Yeah! You have to see ravikiran's face when he was riding at 70 kmph. But, as I said, he almost followed me except very few occasions throughout the trip. Nice RaviKiran, a good boy.

I'm surprised at how god some of the blind shots came in...

For those who were not in the trip, I was shooting the pics as a pillion to Ravi while he did anything between 70-100 kmph and I was wearing a helmet! The only way I could shot is to point the camera and click, expecting it to have captured what I wanted. I am very happy at the results!

Guys missed this one too.. well i didnt have my bike and there was some sorta internet prob so wanst updated..now finally got my bike back with new tank, headlight,vizr.. bike is doin good now.. i think this was the last G2G i missed.. will catch u guys from nxt one.. but pleez inform me if there's any.. i changed my number.. my new number is 9966466803.. do lemme know..THank U

we were busy negotiating the road while off roading and forgot abt photos... finally when I wanted to take the pics, the memory card was full and by the time I cleared some photos he came up the hill... there still are some more pics to be posted and that might give u some idea.

The tyre was better than awesome on that terrain.
