    Hello Sakshar,
    I would like to join in for this group ride. Will be at Kadri Park on 14th at 2:30 as mentioned. I ride a GS150R.

    Cheers on the intiative.


    PS - Any ideas on Road conditions? From what i last heard, they are very poor. People who have been on that stretch kindly contribute.

      Hey Krish,

      Thanks for joining in. I think you are referring to the Manglaore-Kasargod road condition which was pathetic till few months back. I travelled in the same route couple of months back. Patchwork has been done and I got a feedback from the commuters that the road is in better shape, though I did not get any chance to travel on the same route very recently.

      By the way, we are riding to Wayanad this weekend for a 2.5 days' trip starting from mangalore. Any of you, who is interested to join us for this ride, please call me at 9845510637.

          Back on the scene?

          Well, its good to see this forum come alive again, largely thanks to SaKshar - buddy nice to hear from you again! :-)

          Ok, about me, in case the later entrants never caught up, my name's Shawn
          Fernandez, based in Mangalore with a showroom for Interiors. Largely a Yezdi fan and have a '93 Roadking and an '84 Deluxe and an '84 Vespa. Currently am building up from scratch an '80's model D250 Yezdi Classic.

          Was big time into xbhp biking scene when there were primarily just 3 -4 of us. But have cut down now due to certain restrictions. Nevertheless, our Yezdi club tries and meet up once a month for a beach ride and every year, apart from the World Jawa Day in July, have also participated in the Southern Raid for Jawas & Yezdis, once at Kodaikanal and then at Calicut.

          Looking forward to meeting all you guys soon enough

            Hmm, was thinking that 14th was Sunday and was all ready to roll.

            Saturday will be a problem, since I have a lot to do here. Maybe will try and catch up with you guys before you leave!

                    Hey bikers of Mangalore! My name is Tushar Moily. I'm actually from Mumbai but I am doing Mechanical Engineering here in Mangalore right now. Mangalore is my native place and I've come here to complete my engineering I ride a red colour 2008 model RTR 160 with Raceconcepts 170cc big-bore block piston and free flow exhaust, but unfortunately my bike's at home in Mumbai. I have to rely on private buses for transportation! Saw this thread so I thought of introducing myself. Hope many riders pitch in for upcoming rides!

                            I hail from pune & am not a very active member of x-bhp(or any other site) due to office timings
                            Need you people's help for a ride.
                            I am planning to ride from Pune to Bangalore & then to Hassan(will this be shorter distance or is there any alternate way to Hassan?).
                            Need your inputs on road conditions & best routes to take.
                            Never been to Karnataka before, had been to Hubli but that was long time back.
                            Also would like to know if anybody here from Malnad College of Engineering in Hassan?? If yes, please PM me need some info from you
