This is to bring into notice to all the new members who have joined the xbhp forum in the last 3 months. We are planning for an Offline meet to welcome all of you and would like you to introduce yourselves to the xbhp community in real life and to discuss a mega g2g / overnight g2g for the next month.
All are welcome on their bikes / cars / other transport with their loved ones and discuss biking and meet the old members and gain more about xBhp.
The meet will be at xBhp Dhabha at Qutub Institutional Area. Attached is the map :
GOOGLE MAP COORDINATES

Old members will help the new members know about what xbhp was and how it has evolved in the past few years and the success of xbhp which is clearly visible with the recent Grand Indian Roadtrip 2012
Date: 19 August, 2012
Time: 0800 hours- 1200 hours (If it rains make it 9.30am or whenever the rain stops)
Place: xBhp Dhaba, Qutub Institutional Area
Agenda: Introduction of New Members to xBhp and Mega G2G planning
It would be great if members who are missing from the action to come and re-introduce themselves
I would like to invite Sunny Bhaiya, Sunil G, Ken Da, OF Sir, Himanshu, Hoodibaba Sir, Shivi Bhai, Imran Bhai, Ravi Bhaiya and other seniors members to be there, so that the new members can actually meet the hard-working mods of the online community.
P.S : Those who would be coming on their own vehicles, make sure you have the following with you. A surprise check might be awkward if anyone is found without these.
1) Driving License (Original)
2) RC
3) Insurance of the vehicle.
4) PUC
Those who would be on bikes / two-wheelers make sure you are wearing an ISI/DOT/ECE/Snell marked helmet. No shorts/ capris, chappals, flip-flops, sandals will be entertained. Its a strict "NO-NO"
I am In..!!
But 0800 hours seems so late..

Hope it could have been 0600hours atleast..

1) Driving license (original) : No issue
2) RC: My Bike is under 2 months old and I dont have my original RC yet. Will the RC fee reciept suffice?
3) Insurance: Again I dont have the Policy, will the cover note(I hope thats what it is called) suffice?
4) PUC: Is nt there a window period of 6 months for a new bike to get PUC? Can I get a PUC without having my RC?
ISI marked Helmets: I use a Daijya helmet which is obviously not ISI marked, I do have an ISI marked helmet given free to me by the Dealer which is visibly crap compared to the Daijya and I would nt risk wearing it. Is it necessary to be wearing an ISI marked helmet? Does the rule too say so? If yes, then does that mean my 4.5 K is down the drain?
Regards

As I always say experience of yours in touring needs to be shared sir. And I hope to see you on 19th. Even if you are touring, I won't mind. I can understand the itch the touring in some of usOriginally posted by Hoodibaba View PostThanks Prateek for inviting me for this G2G meet...........If I am not out of Station, I would try to be there.

Thanks Prateek for inviting me for this G2G meet. But I would like to say that although I am older than most of the XBhpians, but that does not automatically confer the same status to me as the Mods like Sunny, Sunil, Ken DA, Olx Fox, Himanshu and others enjoy. Although I have toured a little bit but I must admit that these fellows are doing commendable work and are far more experienced in this field as they are engaged with this site since its inception. I do wish that they join us in this meet on 19th.I would like to invite Sunny Bhaiya, Sunil G, Ken Da, OF Sir, Himanshu, Hoodibaba Sir, Shivi Bhai, Imran Bhai, Ravi Bhaiya and other seniors members to be there, so that the new members can actually meet the hard-working mods of the online community

Anyways, all the best for 'THE' day and post lots of pics...
You are dead nowOriginally posted by Sauravh View PostI have my semester exams
on weekends

That might sound monotonousOriginally posted by Sid85 View PostWe can make it a annual celebration like the anniversary.

And it also becomes humid, that is the reason I kept it from 8am to 12noon. Sunday afternoon generally goes into household works and early morning most of the people are free so thats the reasonOriginally posted by Sid85 View PostAlso, since we already have couple of members having their exams can we post- pone the timing to afternoon. That way other members can join after completing their commitments in the morning. The climate becoming cool aftyer rains should not be a problem.

Just a suggestion
Great initiative Prat. Sounds fun. But why only the members who have joined in the last quarter. We can make it a annual celebration like the anniversary.

@Divya : This can be done anywhere. You just need to take initiative and co-operation from fellow members.
