threre cant be a mumbai-pune combined g2g without crashes!!!!

cos and winzee were riding slow but the turn that they crashed at is extreamly hard to judge if u dnt knw the road intimately....and hence he and shiva went off and crashed.as for inder...well i cant say that it wasnt his fault or wht happened as i was not at the scene....but the way in which his bike was banged up, i feel he was lucky to get out with just minor scrapes and scratches.

i'm still wondering how he got his foot stuck in the damn rear wheel

well....moving on then, after all the crashing we decided to go and sit quitely at the tapri for chai and bhaji.while doing this, guys from zig wheels passed by, testing a 08 'Busa. the rider was supremly skilled, what with the way he was throwing that behemoth of a bike around the very technical corners at-not much-100-120kmph

.rider was Varad More(turned out to be an old acquaintance of mine, hence the info on corner speed).

all in all a really gud trip(excluding the crashes-that was real BAD).
it was fun riding with u guys frm mumbai.

Suddenly while coming back, my bike started feeling better.. the pick up has improved... don't know how, Bhandup bridge - Powai - Vikhroli - Kandivali in 30 mins. Man!!! I was fast..

The guy on the Busa was crazy.. he was just throwing that monster BUSA around the Lavasa ghats. what a treat it was to watch his antics.. believe me... it was breath taking.. watching the Big Monster Busa in action.. that close.

The ride was awsm guys ! except for the minor mishaps.
Sorry as I and M1G left early.....I had college submissions pending and M1G had to leave for his job. rest all went O.K.

@All whose posts were deleted-Sorry but visiting this thread gave me an impression that the only event for the day were the crashes but actually the meet was superb minus the unfortunate incidents.Ritwik summarised it more or less.Somehow only the good boys crashed(No one has the answer as to how the first crash happened).I guess by now everyone has the answer and we can look on the positive side of the meet rather than digging the negative part.

@Satyen-Don't jump into conclusion without knowing the details.The ride was very very disciplined and I would like to thank everyone for the same.If you have any further question feel free to P.M me.

Reached home at 8:40 PM... n everyone too reached safely... GOOD HAI!

man it was crazy riding today, i dunno why but it took longer to cover short distances.

We took almost double the tym...

**Neways I was expecting a really hunky-punky moderator (oops! Super Moderator i mean!), but good to know that exceptions still exist on this Planet...

@LAVASA: The place is very dangerous to ride, calculating by what I saw of the OTHER drivers n RIDES, rolling on in the ghats, crossing n overtaking from every direction n corner they could possibly found, they are crazy! n we are still amateurs...

Feels so good to be back in the scheme of G2G's.Be it Delhi or Mumbai/Pune it felt great to be back in the family.Thanks everyone for coming and making it a success.

The first 3 pictures will be posted tomorrow at 8.30a.m

Btw I found my new model for any future photo-shoot of bikes or for any other bikes.Any guesses

Sorry... but am not convinced with the idea of deleting the posts. Even if gives every reader a negative feeling, but ya we need opinions about the accidents/crashes that happened. Ofcourse crashes are not the only things that happened on this meet, but ya they are the main points of any ride/g2g.

We are on the forums not just for positive feelback.... but also to know more about the negatives, do's and dont's on rides/meets, so that we do not repeat the same things when we go to such places. I would have appreciated if the posts were to be edited, or even kept for a day so that the regular Mumbai/Pune guys read them and know more about what happened where and when.

@chetan-We already had a very detailed discussion regarding the same during the meet.Both cos and specially winzee were very upset and there is no point in making them feel the same in this thread.Anyways its upto you guys decide what to do now(Will not delete any further post).

But guys the most happening thing was HAYABUSA MADNESS @ Lavasa Corners!!!! I have never seen a superbike in action for this long. And really we didnt want to move untill the whole shoot was over
