The Plan
Note that this is a draft and recommendations for improving this is welcome.
5.00 AM - Rendezvous at metro (yesvantpur)
5.15 AM - Start
9 AM - Reach Hassan (after breakfast on the way). Take a break.
10 AM - Reach Belur
10AM - 2.30PM - Roam around belur, go to halebid and do some loafing .. have lunch
2.30PM - Start from Halebid rowards hassan
3.00PM - Reach hassan. Decide if we want to go to shravanabelagola or home.
If going home
3.00 PM - Start from hassan towards bangalore
7.30 PM - Reach bangalore after stopping for snacks.

The Plan sounds good and I've got almost everything that meets the ride requirements.
I'm in as I've never been to Belur-Halebidu before and am having the bike for a few more days before my bro gets back from the states~!4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul.Comment

Sorry guys. am dropping out. being packed off to our Bombay office for two weeks by my firm. damn!! just got the information.
There goes one more ride. Second i am missing in 2009. This riding year hasn't started well for me. Have fun guys. Looking forward to the trip log.

Hello ppl .. unfortunately there has been a sudden problem at work and I have to work non sunday .. unable to make it to the ride .. apologies on my part to the confirmed members but this was unexpected and I have no option but to drop out.

Just two people turning up for the ride is very disappointing, in fact miserable.
I suggest we drop this ride as nobody is interested in covering long distances but are happier to cover longer hours on the couch watching T.V happily.
Worked my ass off on chores to let me ride on Sun and had a heated argument today on the same : all in vain.
Blew this month's pocket money of Rs.500 on tanking up for this ride. Have to go barren this entire month now. Seriously re-considering returning my bro's bike back and revert to solo long distance cycling as its worth the effort and then some.
Please don't take this personally but I'm just expressing my thoughts. I guess that's why everyone blogs : just thoughts, no action.4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul.Comment

I had called up Archi last night and got to know that the ride was cancelled. I was gonna turn up for it. Looking forward now, so is the ride finalized for the 22nd of feb?
