for us the maximum no. of trips are in monsoon....tht's the best time for any kinda touring IMO...

so bro what all precaution do you take while driving in rain...please share some info...

I also like riding in rains but one should have that good roads to ride and i know the way i have to cover is really poor ,construction is going on everywhere.

Mumbai pune roads lure me to ride on, be it rain or whatever.

zayn: the first G2G ride for the offroad session you had, do you remember it????? I dont think that it will rain that heavily even if it rains then you know yourself and know your bike as well. And just ride what you ride and dont get influence by other person's riding style.... as you know it would not help. So go ahead ride safe and ride well. Remember you all are going to enjoy the ride not to compete with anyone.... so enjoy yourself and ride safe brother

your info is valuable for me bhai... but one thing don't have waterproof gloves what should i do...should i put polythene bag on my hands...
other wise the hands become wrinkled and starts to cut from many place..like in 1st G2G...

yes brother we do have and it has become quite addictive these days and then the rain God is helping us by making the conditions exactly for moto-X.....


Zayn - wrapping up plastic on your gloves would make it slippery which I would not want even while riding in city when its raining. The best thing would be to wear gloves a keep a towel in bag which you can always use when u stop to wipe off your hand. Or try to get a surgical gloves from any medical shop and wear your gloves on top of that so that your hand wnt get wet only ur gloves will

zayn....actually a sane mind does compensate for everything else especially in rains...

you can carry rain protective gear as told by everyone and basic protection gloves (motomesh types) which are easier to dry...

other than that just be extra carefull...nothing else...riding in rains is more like cruising and enjoying the nature at 60 kmph rather than riping at 90

p.s :good rain cheater really helps as it avoids inner clothes getting wet which is really uncomfortable while riding

Yaar people are scared,that is it, because monsoon lasts for just a couple on months here.so we do not ride much in Rains..

I am Afraid Saif You are mistaken there my freind i went to that road NH58 right now uptil 90kms, no Major sign or any problem!

Bare hands, The Best... put a moisturieser atleast 2-3 hours before you ride!

Yes.. i came from that Side as i had to get my RC which was with the UP Govt as i got a Ticket yesterday for Jumping the Red Light, which i never jumped!

Can rain stop you guys from riding to Landsdowne??? Hell no!! Just wear proper clothing & be VERY VERY careful. That's it. To ride in the rains is the most amazing thing to do according to me! damn I am missing my bike
