It was just not riding to a destination nor it did not matter to some as long as the group meets. E.g. Suggestions/Comments - Really appreciate the hard work behind this event. Accommodation was "SuperB". I do have few suggestions as listed below:

On the first day eve, if we had some intro session, it would help people to know each other. I really liked the "Chilly Bajji Session with Biker Jokes" during the last year G2G.

On Second Day eve, a small session on DIY or Rides or group session would be great. Infact, the topics can be voted so that the presenter can prepare it well. I am sure that it would inspire few.

For Group Ride on the second day, It would be nice if all of us can go together without confusion. In fact, if we can distribute a printout with timings and events, it can make a lot of change so that each individual can plan his time.

Thank you Atkins for your feedback.

1. Day 1 - I thought we were all tired and planned intro session along with Bon fire session, unfortunately it happened on Day 2.
2. DIY session - We had a plan, however, there was some communication breakdown and failed to followup, but next time, we can have that included provided participants show interest.
3. The Day 2 ride to a spot - we could not be more precise as the person who visited the place did not turn up, another member who knew the place but a different name. Ultimately it was one and the same. With a limited window for meeting other members across the borders, thought, it is better to have one ride in the AM so the rest of the time can be spent to their comfort.

Expect more feedbacks/suggestions from members to make the following year G2G even better.

Thank You Sriram, Karthik & Phanikar for everything. Overall Very nicely organised Event i would say, One of the best i have attended. Lots of friendly people, especially the Coimbatore and Chennai Guys.
Still can hear the sound of Rajiv's FZ1 in my Years.
This was the best place i have stayed during organised Rides, Really awesome. Enjoyed a Lot. Thanks a lot again.

One thing i noticed is that the individual groups tend to keep to themselves(not including Coimbatore Group). I felt there should be more interactions between the Groups and more interactive sessions so that everyone enjoys each other's company.

2013 ISG2G - Kodaikanal

Hi all.

This was my first group ride, first xbhp ride and my first 1000+ km ride. I don't have enough words to explain what this ride did to me but I can just tell you guys that before this ride I was afraid of the distance, wondering how I will ever pull this off, but after meeting you all, I covered 490 kms in 7 hours and 10 minutes. I had plans to make video and stuff but I was enjoying so much that I never found the time to get the camera out. Here is what I could cover:

Faced crosswinds for the first time. Had a horrible time facing these. But while returning I found out that the aerodynamics is different at higher speeds or perhaps the crosswind was slow at that time

Hey bro, for the l;art 3 years my ride from Pune for this event is solo.

Last year Krishna(professorBiker) joined on return leg.

I hope somebody will join at least next year from Pune/Mumbai.

Food - Excellent (For the price we paid, yes it was excellent)
Over all - Excellent (For 1800/- bucks plus the unlimited fun and priceless experience it has be excellent)

Suggestions/Comments -
1. All the POC for each region did a fab job, thank you all for making this happen.
2. Its was a wonderful feeling to see most of the riders having riding gears on.. Awesome awesome.. Guys who didn't please invest on riding gears
3. The agenda on Day 2 was kind of a mystery and around 7 of us from the b'lore team were lost in Kodai and didn't know where to go since we didn't know the name of the place as well.. Some how we figured out and reached the lake thanks to a couple of them who could speak Tamil... I know its difficult to manage but lets try make sure majority of the folks know the name of the destination where to ride to; atleast that way we can get directions even with the language barrier..
4. All in all it was good fun and once again everything was EXCELLENT..

I would like to thank Karthi, Sriram, Phanikar, Praful, Nishanth and Swaroop for arranging such a wonderful bikers meet .... Thanks to all the bikers who made it to this G2G and made it a grand success.
In behalf of all 2 strokers, I would like to thank all the bikers who respect our little 2 stroke machines amidst the litre class and quarter class bikes ....

Hi

This was my first g2g with XBHP. Nice ride and a big hug to people who made the arrangements. I have been riding for the last 20+ years on Indian roads and here is my two bits on arrangements next time. As usual riders who knew each other beforehand clung together and formed sub-groups. So next time, when you arrange hotel rooms for individual riders, see to it that riders who are not known to each other (preferably from different states) are put together in a room.

Sir, I might not entirely go with your thoughts here. We are not doing any school/college educational exchange program here. Can't do much about if there are individuals know others from other states before hand and I don't think we could do anything about if they gel well than others. One needs to go interact to know others and we cannot provide personality development classes to them if they are extroverts.

It looks easy when you say to shuffle riders from states while room allocation, trust me, to even arrive final count while confirming to the hotel, it is NOT. There might be some resistance in our own backyard.

Please don't take otherwise, I'm only trying to say that organizers cannot be actioned if there happen to form sub-groups among participants.
