I would like to come but don't know whether 110cc would be able to keep up with others unless its 80 all the way [MENTION=61028]whymail[/MENTION] can I start from virar phata( the first tool booth to Gujarat) or do I need to come to fountain?.

Went to koyna lake resort/ koyna dam this diwali.

Guys.. The hotel booking is done for how many ppl, is there a buffer for tentative riders....coz if the tentative riders confirm...will the hotel ready to increase the number of rooms..

So latest by what date confirmations can be accepted..??

@viraj_s85 : now that @JayD has shared the good news, let's split-up our breakfast @ 2 places:
1. breakfast 1: hotel ahura - egg bhurji + tawa-baked fresh laadi-paav.
2. breakfast 2: McD's Vapi - maharaja mac + nuggets + coffee.
there only this much my '60 gallon tank' can take

@everyone else: pun apart, i personally am scared to ride w/ people whom i aint ridden with before... plain simple scared... pls dont ask why & all!

and since this is becoming a rather large group of diversified machines & motorcyclists, may i humbly suggest that some of us kindly refer to this URL: Group Riding Signals

the group also has absolute novice motorcyclists like me & hence i wud strongly recommend following some formation [staggered formation of smaller groups might be the most suitable on NH8] while riding.

discipline, empathy & respect towards self, other motorcyclists & other traffic on the road is paramount - i expect everyone of us to demonstrate these virtues.

again, just trying to be careful & cautious. one fall is all it takes to screw-up everybody's ride & hence just being a devils advocate.
and as for @saket ... u have a 110CC machine that does 80kmph? man... 80kmph is exact double of what my average top speed is! do join us & throw the CC, Speed, etc. to the winds.

so long as everyone amongst us is fully geared & has updated his ICE details... i think we all r sorted!

@whymail - Perfectly stated^^. We will be sharing group riding tips at the meeting point. Everyone must strictly adhere to the below mentioned Info. Everyone is expected to be geared up.

For any ride, whether short or long, we advocate the usage of riding gear. No rider is allowed on weekend rides unless he/she complies with the following..

Documents
a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate
f. His\her info in the ICE sheet is updated


Safety Gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
