Ride for Safety-2013 (Helmet Awareness and Women Safety Rally) an Initiative by Wheelieboy Adventures (I) Ltd.

Mumbai will witness bikers from round of the corner of this busy town who will gather on Sunday, 8th Dec 2013 to cheer and support for the cause of “RIDE FOR SAFETY”. This year we introduce Women Safety awareness to this biggest rally in Mumbai. We at RFS this year in 2013 will be promoting Helmet Awareness with Women Safety on Roads by the biggest rally which will do wonders in the Society. Eminent Celebrities and HNIs will hold hands with us and take a pledge to create the safety awareness for all the Women out there in our Beautiful city Mumbai and make this city a wonderful place to be and show to the world that women are not to be abused but to be standing and leading the societies.
Motorcycles irrespective of power and displacement will be a part of the ride and with some exotic machinery too, in the form of Harley Davidson, Suzuki Intruder, Honda VFR, Ducati Diavel, Kawasaki ZZR 1400, Busa, R1, CB1000 RR, Gixxer and from our Roaring bullets to Customized Choppers, Ninja 250’s, Honda 250’s etc.
Vijay Jain, MD of the Wheelieboy Adventures who is an award winning biker and the brain child behind the Ride for Safety bike rally says,” Riding should be passion and must be done for you and not to show the world”. Rightly so youths these days tend to often forget the disciplines of being a good rider.
The most important rule of riding is “wearing helmet” which is of utmost importance is often tend to be neglected.
With changing times there should be change in the traffic and motor vehicle laws. License of the driver or rider should be immediately cancelled on being held for rash driving. “It is always a rider who is held responsible” agitates a young college student… Every sport and passion has its own charm and beauty; it is only when the beauty is misused is when one can see the disadvantage which is the other side of the coin. Such the passion of driving is mixed with drinking only leading to mishaps. Knowing to ride is not important but knowing the art of controlling your emotions, greed and speed while riding is what makes you a good biker adds Vijay Jain. He adds “Most of the times it is not the fault of the biker, there are pot holes and open man holes on the roads due to which accidents take place in the city. Even pedestrians are unaware of walking norms on the road which leads to accident and blame is always given to the driver.”
Every biker today should learn that with Great Power comes Great Responsibility.
