    I saw a lot of hotels on online portals within decent budget. But none says about parking. I guess it would be prudent for a few to personally go and check the stuff out there (or any destination for that matter). I know it can be tough, but hosts do take that bit of extra pain to ensure guests are happy.

          Please consider all popular hill stations in Maharashtra. After exhuasting ride by people all over, a cooler place would lift everyone's mood. And yes, no B*ches please, they will be exremely humid in Summer. I repeat, Very Humid.

              Even most of the hill stations will...warmer than you expect...it wouldn't make any difference if u go to beach or a hill station...

              Velneshwar is also a good option...

                  4. Camping at kolad (NH 17 maharsahtra)
                  5. camping at tapola eco tourism(Near mahabaleshwar)
                  6. Nivati (konkan)
                  7. Bhandardara Backwaters
                  8. Anywhere in GA


                  Mahabaleshwar is overrated and overpriced.

                    The nights are cooler at hill stations generally. Agreeably, there wont be worldly difference but i remember the Ganapatipule heat in last August ride of mine.

                    Now August isnt really a summer month but i spoke out of experience. Any place is good place if we can manage it well.

                    I for one will even attend this one in 'Nagpur' given the dates favour me. How about Chikhaldara?

                        Wow, so finally the thread is up haan. Good to see this. I will also suggest MAHABALEsHWAR, as its a good place, a hill station and will be of almost equal distance for KA and GUJ guys atleast.

                          @ZMAtic - Chikhaldhara seems like a good options but Would be 1000 plus Kms for KA guys. People coming from Chennai or anywhere around there might become eligible for Claiming a Saddlesore certificate.
