Motorcycle Travellers Meet Announces New Event: miniMTM Mumbai 2014
MUMBAI - After two successful multi-day events, focused on bringing global and local motorcycle travellers together outside Bangalore, Motorcycle Travellers Meet (MTM) is now launching its first single-day event, miniMTM Mumbai 2014. The one day event will take place on 22 June 2014 at Vangani, about an hour from Mumbai.
miniMTM Mumbai 2014 will feature talks by motorcycle travellers such as Steph Jeavons, who is currently riding a Honda CRF 250 on a round-the-world journey that began in the UK, Avinash Thadani, who rode a KTM 640 around South America and Kedarnath, who rode a Royal Enfield Thunderbird from India to Europe. Besides
the talks, there will be an Off-road Ride Skills Workshop by Jay Kannaiyan from Jammin Global along with an info session on riding to Ladakh, a panel discussion on solo motorcycle traveling and a film screening of Dream Ride, a motorcycle documentary by Deepak Thimmoji.
Registration for the event is currently open at the below website and is limited to 150 participants. To take part in the early morning Off-road Ride Skills Workshop, participants need to arrive the evening before (June 21st) and there are only 80 spots available for this option.

About Motorcycle Travellers Meet
Motorcycle Travellers Meet is an organisation that began in 2013 with the vision of nurturing the adventure motorcycling community in India. Its launch event was MTM 2013 and that was followed up by MTM 2014. The events are a get-together of like-minded, passionate motorcycle travellers who share experiences, inspire
others to travel and explore the world on a motorcycle. The meets are geared for travellers who belong on a motorcycle and venture out to explore the boundaries of adventure.
Besides the meets, MTM also produces a journal on adventure motorcycling and is creating a network for motorcycle travellers called MTM GRiD. MTM is associated with Horizons Unlimited, the single-most authoritative adventure travellers forum in the world, and The Ted Simon Foundation who encourage travellers to share their stories by producing creative works. MTM has partnered and allied with many other organisations in India and worldwide and is successfully growing the adventure motorcycling community in India.
