I saw an LPG-powered bike yesterday! It was a HH Splendour with a small tank similar to the one found on portable oxyacetylene torches. It had a small curved cover over it with "LPG" written in paint. The two guys on it told me that it costed them less than 50 paisa per km on LPG. Great innovation, a bit dicey though, I thought. Then the rider told me that he was getting it changed to CNG!!! No time for a foto, will post one when I see the bike again.

In 2010 when i used to stay near ARAI I frequently came across this Kawasaki Bajaj caliber fitted with LPG tank at the pillion seat, it was being tested for that LPG kit. I guess they have authorized that kit for usage.

Guys, Why is the Brunch so early ie at 8 am on a Sunday. I can understand if its only the Guys, but now we want to involve the Women for a Brunch at 8 am?

Any location we choose, we have to vacate by 11 am so that they can start catering to lunch crowd. We are expecting around 100 pax turnout. Now imagine nearly 100 people trying out different items of the breakfast menu, chatting etc. would take at least couple of hours. Hence, the timing has been kept at 8 am.

Only other option is to hire a hall. It would cost at least 50-100 bucks more per head. Hence this option has not been explored.

The last question is part of an interesting issue which was discussed on the ninja thread.
What i concluded was that when you roll off and your speed starts decreasing, the bike's weight transfers to the front which causes the contact patch of the front tire to increase.

Now since you say the tire could be miss shaped in some way because of the fall, combined with the larger contact patch, the problem gets aggravated hence the wobble.

While accelerating the contact patch becomes since the weight shifts to the rear wheel hence minimal wobble.

I'd suggest wheel weights or new tires but I'm sure there are cheaper solutions.

1. Put your bike on centre stand or paddock.
2. put it in gear and let the rear wheel rotate.
3. Hold the tip of a screw driver very near but not touching the rim.
4. If it touches rim only at certain spots, you have found a slightly bent rim.
5. There is no cure for such a small bend. So either leave with it or replace.

The honda service centre in chinchwad, Pune (Sterling) is refusing to put Motul oil. The owner was also totally rude about it. Is there a good mechanic/ dealer who would put Motul oil for me and change my oil filter for my CBR 250R. I have a spare filter with me. Need urgent help!
