andy and inder : well I planed for a koyna ride and wanted to see where the road ends which goes along with koyna before the rains set in , but then that would be saturday ... sunday lavasa is not so cool ... I try to stay away from it

I second Niks here. Lavasa is no fun for me too.
Regarding formations & speed-limits, these things have never worked in the past.
I do not want to discourage anyone. Ultimately depends on the personal preferences.
Even I want to try some new place, but need a ride companion.Comment
