Michelin pilot sporty 100/90-18 tubeless rear tyre retails at 1900 bucks . Is it better compared to zapper q for my apache ? She badly needs a tyre change .

Better pick up a M45 or a zap Q. Am using Pilot sporty, neither me or arun is liking it one bit. It has slided throuh all the cornors till now!

Have you tried riding it without the heavy breather pipe...

my bike is hitching to cross 110 on speedo on normal fuel.
if i use shell with octane boosters, the speed increases to 120 on speedo but it hitches as if the engine is gonna blow.

the other problem is that it is not over heating at all that means that the fuel is too rich.
plus, the bike touches 110 in chilly mornings only. if i ride it in afternoon, the speed is only 100.

initially i thought this was cos of chain damage but even after replacing it, the problem still persists.

Can anyone tell me where to find a Pirelli MT75 140/60 or 140/70 17" tyre around here? I called up Probiker but they only had Sport Demons in that size; no local type non-branded dealer keeps those. I tried using the Universal tyres thread for help 2 months back but found that no one was responding.

The thing is when you can extract more power in denser air is rich with oxygen molecules hence u might feel more power due to complete combution of fuel but as the air heats up the oxygen molecules break and leads to somewhat incomplete combustion of fuel so your bike might feel lethargic as compared to morning
but if you have tuned it to optimum air fuel mixutre ration it should perform no matter what also tyre pressure matters and weight of rider and the bike
Hope this helps you also if you are able to keep the intake header temperature low for cold air which will help develop more power.

Try Darshan tyre must be somewhere in kothrud and in chicnhwad @empire estate beware of fake ones

Another Suggestion would be something on the lines of what VW does with its TSI line of engines..

Another genuine suggestion would be to 'Revert back to stock for New Year Ride Or else I Wont Stop If You break down due to burnt valves again ."
