Any leads on raising the clip-ons height for the new CBR? My neck and forearms are killing me. Vishwas, I should have emulated you and got the Ninja instead. The BMW is just too expensive, man. Why can't these guys get the G650GS here instead of that monstrous K1300...

just a question, can you get the zma handlebar along with the mounts fitted on the cbr?

raising clipon heights will be difficult. better change the whole handlebar assly. if you are in pune these days, contact chinmay dangre- nigdi. he has worked on sbks earlier maybe he will be ale to source you the a new set of clip on

Thanks, rockrz. After writing the last post, I got a call from a workshop chap. He has done a number of sbks from Ahmedabad and the sloution he has offered is absurdly simple. I shall put up some sketches of it later.

Changing the handlebar completely is a huge pain in the a**e in the CBR. The cable lengths are so perfectly matched that there is just about an inch of available slack. So even if I was able to drill a set of holes on the base plate for the mounting bolts, I would have to change the entire set of cables

Actually Saturday and Sunday are unofficial holidays for Pune xBhp so hardly any members are online those days. If you wish to ask about upcoming rides, please post question latest by friday morning.

Nice to see that you have at last found some solution. I am not well versed with engineering associated with modifications so can't suggest anything. Also please post this query in CBR ownership thread. There at least someone may have done this mod.
