A Day Out With Superbikers
delhi - manesar and beyond
( ~180kms one way)
It was 24th feb when Vivek Soni ( Yamaha VMAX ) game a ring in the morning asking me if i was on for going with them to a long ride to manesar and beyond on his vmax along with others. Of course! I packed my camcorder, my digicam nad hurried off to the meeting point near radisson hotel. there we met at the petrol pump and had several more SBKs join us:
Raees - Hayabusa
Arshi - BlackBird
Dr Arun - Ninjazx12r
Alfred - Ninjazx9r
Vivek - Yamaha Vmax
and off we went!
incidently it was the day when The Stesman Malibu Towne Vintage Car Rally was going on. It was following the same route as us. I shot some of them too. We stopped at a resort in manesar and had a real good lunch in the lawns. Awesome place it was. I guess it was t he neemrana fort. ( forgot ! ) The acceleration of the Vmax was truly mind boggling! There was no question of me taking out the buly camcorder at 200+ speeds on the highway.
