I've never heard of him though.... would love to meet him some time though.....

He was a former racer dude. An ex-colleague of my mum now. If you know awais, then awais supposedly knows him. I believe they had a pretty tight race back in 99. He asked me to mention the name "scramby" to awais. (Awais from CBX Racing, Royapettah, btw).
He'll be coming down to Chennai next month, maybe. He's in Vizag now. I'll let you know, and you can probably meet him. And yeah, let's discuss about this whole thing when we meet up next. From the looks of it, I think we're in for this Sunday?

This person is a guy named Satish Ignmoorthy. Former racer. He's won a couple of titles, and he's more popularly known as Scramby. He was on the track before. His photo's been on the cover of Sportstar. Or middle page. Don't really know which.
But yeah, I'd rather discuss this in person. Let's try and meet up sometime.

@insid: The boots costs around 15k..... but that is if you have someone bringing it down from abroad..... here the same cost around 17 (not sure)..... my personnel recommendation....... get new leathers.....
and if you tell me who is willing to help you out with racing, it would be of even more help to me.......

things at racing are becoming a lot more money oriented now.... a lot of class D's have been removed... and people there are making it real time racing..... this might not be the correct time for a new comer to try his hand (my personnel opinion though......... )
