Theres is a lot of constructive criticism in the above posts that we all should take seriously, and each one of them has truth in it. However, such people will be there in any group, road, you just cant generalize a whole group because of a few examples.

Coming to the initiative, I am inspired. Great to see people finally realizing that they have to unlearn most of the motorcycling stuff they know for this one. This is the passion we are looking for!

Hey Anirude , it was nice meeting up with you little brother and i must say very good Initiative there,

Yes there are many posers around, and we already witness one fellow during our juhu ride at mumbai event one grey stripped karishma , doing wheelies with a pillon on, he nearly came this close to bang Ripper [Rohan]
he was an outsider not from xbhp.

I know you too lost your cool and wanted to rip and do wheelies - but when you are young a little madness is ok that's the beauty of it, but young and irresponsible is strict NO NO

I to believe in mature riding with discipline and No stunting when in groups. No body here needs to prove nothin..All ride for a common cause

Regarding the event, Me and Rajr will mostly be going to divangar that's 7-8th, with other fellow riders.. you guys go ahead and make us proud

Just a suggestion- I know you guys are practising a lot but if someone's got short wheelbase bike that would be more better, with dirt tyres at back that will give more traction, skills is something everyone posses here, you also need the right machine for the right job. long wheelbase bikes with longer turning radius will never help in reducing time.--- Just a suggestion

As i mentioned in some other thread, " if you are content being called a les skilled rider, and wimper all your life thoda practice kiya hota toh, ahemdabad gaye hote toh etc. then you can skip this ride"".
AFAIK i & anirude have a point to prove. Big time. I think beatin an rX100/125 with expanded chambers and tyres which wont let you down even if you tilt the bike 80 degrees and take a turn+ you have autocross champs on it, who are accustomed to ride on kichad and not even dry gravel; trust me , it will take a lotta effort on a pulsar 180ug3 and yes a R15.

As far as having those strange wannabe riders are concerned, a word of caution from known faces in the g2g should take care of them.
@46--hope you were not tryin to categorize in the wannabe riders list. If yes, i think YOU should give the event a shot. dude attendin G2g's for 4 years is no big deal, you did it coz u had the previlege to know about the site then, not because you were some royalty, or straight out of motogp.

P.S. so guys kindly cut the cr*p please try droppin some valuable suggestions for handling, driftin the bike while doing 8's....and so on and so forth.
            Vikram.....

I need not write this sentense here.."Great Initiative Anirude" Because I knew this thing right there at Mumbai Event itself, when MG told us that no one from Xbhp is selected in top 20. Your face told everything how dissappointed were u.. I knew u defnitely gonna giv it a shot at A'bad. Great Spirit.

As of my participation, I had told u poeple there at the event that most probably I'll make it to A'bad ride. But then I have some commitments here yaar.

I dont want to keep saying yes m in ..yes m in... n then pull out at the last moment even after knowing the fact that it's as good as impossible for me. That's y..tellin u the truth..I really wish to b there at A'bad, specially cause I did it better in Mumbai than Pune.. Atleast I was selected till the Slalom round. And that makes me feel that I can definitely do even better this time.

                But really can't help it.

Even if at the last moment I get a chance to come, trust me.. I'll be there for sure...100%

Remember..woh host ko maine bola tha..."If i dont do well here I'll try to b there for the next event" I gotto prove it true...

Let's see...Count me as an unconfirmed rider for this ride...

Yep. Chetan had called me too. I cannot make it though. I screwed up in the slalom. But if had another shot I'm sure I would do well. Sadly, it won't be possible for me.

While surfing the net about tasks similar to the ones in the CP1 events, I was overjoyed to find out that these are basic tasks carried out in many places abroad as part an parcel of acquiring a basic motorcycle licence.

Glad that this stuff is being carried out by y'all and even more happy that there are sufficient sponsors for the same.

May I also add that, the 2 days of practice and that one day at the event have helped me learn a lot as an everyday motorcyclist. Having to perform those tasks on a playground surface aids the rider with better control of his bike on the road. Specially for someone like me who until now had a sort of mental block about my abilities on a bike like the Karizma, despit having ridden a '00 CBZ for more than 3 years.

Thanks guys! I even have a good mind to start a motorcycle school later in life after this. God willing of course.

@Vikram: I don't have much expertise but try and go a little easier on the slaloms and use more of the rear brake. Just my suggestion after seeing you fall in the slalom round. But then that last track was a bit weird compared to the other two.

                        God speed!

O.T.: Ketan, I like your new Pro pic. Simple and effective.

And where are the other Pune guys?

3)Thou shalt respect one's own bike.
4)Love thy bike as thy self.

7)Thou may lust after thy neighbour's bike specially if its of the R1 kind!
8)Thou shalt ride with 'ultra-most' care and caution when on Indian roads.
9)Thou shalt never leave the engine running at long traffic halts.
10)Thou shalt follow all of the above.
