Re: xBhp South of India ISG2G 2015 - Kodagu Calling

that was brilliant pics there. I'm sure thats not the only pics you got, post more of them.

Coming back to the G2G, i was always sure this will be successful. State SPOCS made sure it does. Phani and Praful did fentabulas job in selection of the resort, i tasted twistes as well as off roading reaching there, Awesome ! Rooms were spacious and with belconies, what luck ! Food was decent and served well.

Half day spent on bridge was completely worth. In the nut shell, 3 days well spend.

On top of it, met some old friends and made some new one. Good to see young chaps joining the rides and coming for G2G.

I have just one negative comment and I'm will be pretty blunt about it, I was put up in same room with Jafar the great Khan 'AGAIN' !!! Well, thats probably because only me and Sunny would be ready to do so. Anyways, overall great experince. Thanks to each everyone of those who came for the ride and hope to see all of them and probably few new faces next year.

Re: xBhp South of India ISG2G 2015 - Kodagu Calling

A big thank you to all the guys who made it to the G2G glad that we could cater to the expectations of many over here.
Special thanks to Alok and Jafar, who made it a point to join in from places as far as Hyderabad and Pune. Regret that we missed out on Abhijeet who was " so near, yet so far".

I would be failing in my duties if i dont mention the effort put in by SPOCS of various cities who over the years have made it a point to spend some time off their cramped schedule in organizing the meet.

Last but not the least, the volunteers from the Bangalore team, who lent a massive helping in organizing and implementing the plan.

P.S: Nishant, we regret to say that the next years room allocation sheet has been prepared with same folks in your room as it has been over the years [emoji14]

Request everyone to contribute with their share of pics , which will definitely be treasured.

Re: xBhp South of India ISG2G 2015 - Kodagu Calling

Though I couldn't take part, I've only heard good things about the management and discipline maintained by all.

Kudos to the KA team for arranging stay and paying attention to the minutest possible details (after all, devil is in the details) and for all other teams (TN/KL) for showing up with such zeal! One thing I adore about about "this" set of motorcyclists is that they're not yahoos and they don't seek hoo haas' and adulation every time they ride; something which I feel has become more important to the so called bikers nowadays!

I've interacted with roughly only 10 people from this elite brotherhood (of 50+ non-yahoo, me toos') and I have never felt uncomfortable even once! Yup, I got bashed when I asked very idiotic questions but even those were answered at the end of the day. I only have respect for y'all guys!

So called newer crop of "bikers" may come and go, but I don't see them lasting this long or planning events to even 50% of what you guys have been doing over the years.

Keep riding and keep posing (only for photographs) !

Re: xBhp South of India ISG2G 2015 - Kodagu Calling

Had a great time in this year's ISG2G, which being my first. Many thanks to Phanikar and Praful for their efforts in making this event a memorable one.
Many pictures were taken, but I did a hasty job of post-production with my set of pictures. Will be working on them again tonight and post asap.

Meanwhile, managed to type out my experience of this ISG2G event to whatever best I could recall from memory. Sorry if I missed out anything.
Thank you once again!

I am literally rolling on the floor here ...

My sleepy head awakened each time by the hearty laughter from Phanikar, that which would have a movie villain orRakshasa turn away in shame.

Thanks to the organizers for such a well-thought of event. This was my first ISG2G with this group. I had registered last year but missed due to an accident while returning from my Independence day ride.
I arrived a day late, and did not know a soul there, except phanikar , I had never even seen any of them in person. I had never been to the resort earlier .. . and what not.
Friends suggested to take rest as I have just been back after a journey, but I decided to go anyway. My bike was still in Delhi as I had to leave it at my friends place. I managed to borrow a bike - Yamaha Fazer from one of my friends and started towards Coorg on the second day.
What stands out is how comfortable it turned out to be, it was a much better lot than I was expecting. Organization was top class and can be a new benchmark. Got to learn a lot here. Spent a lot of time at the swimming pool and had fun recording those moments. The ride to the cloud covered temple was awesome and I truly need to thank the Bangalore team while returning as they had to keep stopping and waiting for me as I was usually lagging behind (the slow poke rider I am). Inspite of a great speed difference, the group stayed together until the end point and that in itself shows the loads of experience on offer here.
Yes, these are not the yahoos, these are the real masters who, with each passing ride have truly gained experience and evolved to a better rider.
Will make sure to attend every ISG2G from here on and truly wish to be a part of more rides with all those present. Whenever you guys plan a trip, do invite me

P.S - Loved to see 1.2 lakh on a Karizma odo. Hope to accomplish the feat someday

My version of the event experience as put on my blog / website - Frozen MercuryXBHPmembers. Many of the riders that turned up for this event were mostly from Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore.
From the pre-ride until just the day before this ride, purchased boot covers from the RE online store and then a spur of the moment purchase of the TBG ankle length boots from . Just the day before, went to checkoutMotoAdda

Thanks giving to the XBHP members from different cities for organising this event and each one introducing themselves to all was a cheerful and happy moment. Dinner followed by alcohol and chit-chat. My sleepy head awakened each time by the hearty laughter from Phanikar, that which would have a movie villain or Rakshasa turn away in shame.
Following morning, the riders from Chennai and Coimbatore started off early by about 8am. While the rest of us from Bangalore settled our dues, packed up our stuff and were ready two hours later. Some chose to ride directly back to Bangalore to get there early. Rest of us rode for about 40km to get to Kotebetta. At the top stood a huge natural stone hill partly covered with dense fog, secluded away from the town. A stairway let up to a small grilled enclosure that guarded a simple shrine dedicated to
