We had a lotsa fun in there. We saw the Merc Convertible SLK zooming past us. It was really fun to ride the bike on the beach. We also saw a Victor do 105kmph. But the turnout was a lil depressing. i thought like some close 18-20 ll turn up, but only 10 made it. Hope to c lot more ppl in the nxt G2G. Hey Ajay, where r u man?

that lineup of bikes and bikers at the beach is gr8.
at that sand u relly need a chain cover otherwise ur chainset is in pain.

Yesterday was amazing guys!! It was pouring heavyly when ajay and myself turned up at the meeting point. and we had alomst given up hopes of anyone else coming or infact if at all anyone came we may just end up siting in some hotel having chai. But not only did people turn up (in all 11 people + 8 bikes) we decide "to hell with the rain" and went on with it.............

due to the wet conditions we were driving sensibly at around 70kmph - more of a lesiure drive along the scenic ECR road.

Ohhh ya the lesson we learned yesterday, never beleive what happens in the movies.... well inspired by kareena driving a bike along the beach, kishore(sk8er) took his bike to the edge of the water..... end result.... check out the pic on page 2

The only dampner was the accident we encountered on the way.

thats coming in a few days to the factory, it looks awesome, almost like a little bro of the SLR.

I was in chennai for 4 years, just came to pune, sadly didnt attend any G2Gs in chennnai, hope to attend some in pune now.

yeah guys it was fantastic ride with the rain all guys rode the bike sensible and its perfect too,the G2G went grand with a cool climate and a cool mercedes too!

it was one lazy sunday afternoon, was a sunny day to start wid so spent most of the morn washing n polishing my 180 dtsyy, started from home it was still sunny and everything was perfect till the raidgods decided to play spoilsport. gt fully wet in the rain, my ditsyy asusual gathered all the slush it cld find but rain din dampen ny of our sprits, met up at chickking finally gotta see fellow mates, all youngesters, coll guys and of course the two granpas ajay and sharath [] jus kiddin guys, the oldest of the young group sharath was jus 24 and ajay 3 days younger. so sharath was th old wise man wid a p 150 alloys and 110 duro tyres..looked kewl.
set out to the open roads at the ecr, as told b4 sensible speed on wet roads breaked at the toll plaza and went further down guys gathereing speed wid slightly drier roads ahead..we were going gr8 guns till we came across a smashed scooter with a dead man in a pool of blood which was obviously a bad crash wid the stranded scrpio. note he had no helmet, so guys pls do wear one
we carried on to the open beach..was awsome kishore tried riding on the shore buy was litrelly digging sand, guys movies r diffrent, nyways talkin abt kishores red 180dtsyy hes got an cool halogen lamo fitted below the engine scoop, u can chk it out its pics, looks gr8 ..n jus 40 bucks, me ajay n sharath r goin to gp rd this weekednd . our man tested the victor for top speed and all of us headed bak for the city. met up at bessy beach again, now kapil joined us wid his black 180 dtsi wid m45 tyres...lookd really cool me gonna get myself one of those.
a trip to pondi is in the pipeline, hope the responce is better tis time, am sure itd be awsome fun

What A G2G [8D]!!! It was awesome, absolutely Awesome !! It started with doubts on everybodies minds....Should we/ Shouldnt we(G2G postponed due to rain !).... But then like sharat mentioned..."hell with the Rain"...That was the xBhp spirit !! We had some problems communicating in the beggining...like...hi, i am ajanjo and ur pulsar_flame....[)] That felt a little silly !! But all of us made an earnest attempt at remembering each others name, so that next time it is real names and not usernames.
When the rain reduced/stopped all of us left. A total of 8 bikes. Some of us had to fill in petrol. Then we were on our way . While we were in the city 4 vechiles were split because of a signal.
the 1st accident[B)]: ...A fiero f2 guy(middle-aged guy) came a little close to sharat's bike and an auto, so he slammed his front brakes....Big mistake.....He skid, fell, helmet was rolling in the air, and landed 10 ft in front !! Vinod, satish and me were behind at some distance so we could stop...Thankfully, the guy got up(phew!). then we were on our way.
It started raining again, badly. So we stopped under a tree on the road-side. As the rains stopped. We took our bikes and were slowly moving ahead when we see the merc [][]....It didnot have the hardtop on...so it was like open and taking a curve on the worng lane @ around 120 km/h[](i could be exagurating..but you get the point rite). WOW !! We went ahead and came to place were there was this long narrow bridge, there was a traffic jam. We were like now, racing to the traffic jam...why...MERC !! Finally made it and sorrounded the merc with all our bikes, that's the snaps ! After satisfying our selves...we went ahead,slowly moving thru traffic. We came to find out the reason for the traffic jam.
2nd accident: This was bad...really bad.Saw the back of a scorpio on the left hand side and a SMASHED(it was a useless piece of metal rolled up together) scotter (bajaj chetak i think) on the right hand side. Then i noticed a body lying on the road....the head was not where it was supposed to be....(S**t !!) We had to STOP after we saw that....we did not hav the stoamch to take that. Hope his soul rests in peace ...!
After that Helmets on the head felt a lot better...the unlucky guy was not wearing a helmet. All of u guys, please wear a helmet [B)]!
We left that behind, and went ahead with our trip...We maiantined a straight line (ie) one bike after the other ..That got heads turning !! The rest of the trip i guess is well depicted from the pics. Techno, i was wearing a sandal . i'll take care the next time ! The spirit on the whole 70 km ride was Awesome !!
One another thing, prahalad's(cbr) victor sounded like an RD 350(i have no idea of how an rd 350cc sounds, but i guess i got the point across...It was good[^]), he had changed his air filter and was able to get a max speed of 105 km/h....Cbr could put up the details...After the trip we meet up again @ our meeting point and kapil came across. he couldnt make it because of family.
Last but not the least....This G2G was only because of.....xBhp ! Thanks a lot xBhp....!!
