I would suggest if time can be shifted to 1700 hrs. We faced it at INDIA GATE that 1700 hrs was too hot. Considering the lil greenery around dhaba 1700 hrs is manageable & that would also give scope for some members to reconsider their attendance; especially DCS Bhai.

I strongly differ here. There is a difference between your better halves touring with you and interested to discuss about the touring stuff. They tour with you because they love you on first hand. Not everyone is interested in discussing these pillion stuff. Moreover we don't "need" a G2G to discuss pillion stuff. Just google around for 5 mins and you will get all what you need. Its not rocket science after all. It's just biking. Our parents have been riding around on scooters and bikes without having any top end knowledge of how to get on scooter when they have a kid in hand or a bag of vegetables hanging off. Aren't they not enough tired us us being online all day talking about Bikes, rides and their "effect" on our lives?

It is good to justify but bad to ignore other's point of view. There can be good healthy discussion, spouses knowing each other. I know quite a few people around on xbhp and their gf/spouses are not interested in biking stuff at all but they ride with their partners and come to G2Gs just for the reasons those matters the most in life.

But Being better halves they don't necessarily need to be interested in everything we are interested in. That's an individual choice, and if we start rethinking on them being our better halves only because they are not that much interested on bikes as we are, then IMO we need to rethink ourselves from thier POV.

Ok let's not make it a life & death matter. All we are attending is a G2G of bikers. Better halves always invited.... a group discussion about biking, its effects & various ways that touring can be made more enjoyable (for rider & pillion), sharing anecdotes of instances and getting to know ladies' views on this phenomenon of biking is something I'm looking for??

If we can spread positive vibes of safe biking in their head & promote our common passion to people..... I think its of no harm!!

That's what xbhp is all about - promoting safe biking as a way of life. I mention again - just promoting & not forcing. Everyone is free to discuss what they wish but a common chat for 20 odd mins can make the difference.

Alright guys, it was just supposed to be a chilled-out couple get-together, and we are making it out to be more than that. Let's meet up, and then we'll see what all things ensue!

@SoT: Wow! Your presence would be lovely.

@DCS: Do come at the g2g. Office or no office.

@all: The time is 1600hrs. I'll be there with my 'better half' at 1600hrs. You guys can come at your own pace, by 1700hrs (5pm).
