Decent suggestion. In the past we have had Blind school donations as well if I am not mistaken.

I think this will also cool down the HEAT which Delhi XBHP has been experiencing of late
Jokes apart, planting of saplings will surely soothe us, trust me. And when we grow old, we can then show the younger lot "See kiddo! See that tree!! It was planted on .... day by us in 2009"

I second that bro, as this way we can help our earth and nature. And definately a lesson for coming generation, to respect nature

Save the Earth - We are the one who are running out of time, as Earth will take it own time to heal but that time may not be enough for us.

          Happy Birthday to XBHP ...!!!!!

A lot of good ideas are coming out... but probably a full turn out at the XBHP Lane where all this started ...and then post a dhaba session should do justice .

However riding in sane formation through the Outer Ring Road at 6-7 am types and arriving at a pre decided destination and every1 wearing XBHP Tee's [ those who do not have them can be given Tees , if they confirm their presence via this thread] and even CP at this early hour isnt a bad idea...but that's just me.

However Pragati Maidan has this old theatre called Shakuntalam...or Purana Quila ...it would be empty on a Sunday morning....But Rajpath with the entire formation of bikes is the most appealing idea...this is ofcourse after the xBHP Lane..

Waise this is a decent idea too...Planting saplings ....but logistically speaking....how does each one carry a sapling if ur riding..

yeah it sounds good, but we have to take into consideration that if girlfriends/spouse/friends are coming so have to get their comfort also in consideration......
also whcih ever place is the venue for this gala G2G, we have to consider the parking space, secure parking (for SBKs), nice place for member's better half..

I was thinking Indian Habitat Center ( Ethopia ) it does have good food as well and even parking is good but then on Sunday its preety crowded usually, so les see waiting for the final venue soon

IHC is a great idea mate...but to avoid the crowd , we'll have to make it in the day....

If the Rain gods are merciful enough , we might not have to ride out in the heat ..

Thanks for the consideration of Sbkers. Eatopia and IHC is an excellent idea. But is it open in the mornings that early?

Or if we contribute and if we are sufficiently large in numbers, shall we book up a Pizza Hut or a McDonald's? (Even though I am pretty much anti-McD)

Ken Da MacD is a NoNo...i think it would be too normal a place to celebrate such an important event sply for all of us here..... but pizza hut sounds good...see my point is its our 6th Anniversary...and the event should be such that it should be worth the standards which xBhp has maintained and will maintain in future..... so thats what I was thinking.

And IHC wont be open in the morning I agree to that.....

All please bring up more venues and places to make this event a memorable one.... what about Essex farm at Adchini

How about having G2G at Old fox Hut if he allows, we will have ample parking space, and its a good place to enjoy/chit chat etc.

Totally agree on McDo being ordinary and normal. Not easy to find early morning venues! Unless we book in advance maybe...

The weather since the past two days has been really good. Pizza Hut & Mc.Donalds are really not my cup of coffee. Instead, I would somehow prefer the dhaba in-place of such a boring food-joint!

It's Tuesday already, and tomorrow the plan needs to be put up! Come-on guys (and girls), speak up!

P.S: Torque_Ankur's idea is not bad really, if OF sir allows! Meeting at the 'Writer's Hut' would be really a good idea, as we can all relax there and perhaps have a few heartwarming 'sessions' whereby OF can give us a few motorcycling and life lessons! And then, there is the added bonus of nice, BIG parking space where we can park our respective machines ANYWHERE! I am game for 'Writer's Hut'.

Congrats to all for reaching another Milestone in our Journey !

For our 6th Anniversary G2g how about we meeting at 4pm at Xbhp Dhaba then when all people arrive we can have a small ride in formation together to Rajpath and after that we can go to any food joint /dhaba . At evening we can have much higher turnout as many people would bring friends and all . Also, the weather seems to be improving. That would add to the fun factor during the evening . while in morning we may have trouble of finding a eating joint but in evening we can book anyplace .

@Puneet: I agree with the latter part of your post totally. Finding a good food-joint in the morning can be troublesome. Evening would be good, as then the fairer sex can join in too (not that they sleep off in the morning or something ).

Also, if people are getting bored of visiting the dhaba ever so often, then please do suggest some good place where we can meet and can have a plain, good time.
                                :)
