      I would recommend Kolad, also to try river rafting there. Good accomodation,
      total damage per person:
      Accomodation: 800Rs incl food probably will negotiate if the group is big
      River Rafing: Rs 1000/- can be negotiated to 900/-

      River rafting can be kept as an optional choice....

      OT: Today in the morning i saw a RED R15 with Xbhp on the side faring a guy with a black cross helmet before Powai (on the road that lead to powai)... MH03 - 73....

        just an info.. the Koyna route is always awesome.. with 30-40 KMs of ok kind of road.. and 30 KM of the bestest ghat from Koyna to chiplun with butter smooth road..
        kolhapur-gagan bawda road is never even close to even good enough..

        but both the routes are very scenic..

            ya...why is Bhandardara not into considerations??? its a near enuf destination with equal time for the drive as well as chat and njoi the place....

              bhandardhara -this is not the season for it ...
              kolad- any season is worthwhile but damage to pockets is a bit high if everything needs to be enjoyed
              tarkarli-please rule out.too far.there are same type beaches like tarkarli at harnai,murud (near harnai),velneshwar,guhaghar , srivardhan etc

                AFAIK..Bhandardhara is at its best in Monsoon Season.But who cares when you have company of some bad A****.The only concern is .."Does this place deserves a One night halt"

                My vote goes to Saputara and Harnai

                I would prefer any of the Konkan beach.

                          Paaji..Beaches out there are Pathetic.Unclean and Raw Oil spills @beach with lots of stones.Dahanu has a Fort !!..I didn't knew

                              JUst an Idea....How about all of us going to some OutBound Resort where we can
                              1) Go riding (so the riding part is covered)
                              2) Do the outbound activities...like rappling, kayaking, river crossing, etc etc (so the fun part is covered)
                              3) Find a place from where we can ride to some near by places for site seeing etc..
                              4) Stay over night so the daru party happens for the one who want to
