Humble request.

Those who attempt stunting at G2G meets, must wear proper riding gear; helmet , riding jacket, gloves, knee caps, jeans, shoes. Nobody will be allowed to stunt at meets without the above gear.

Those who intend to do stunting, please get them for the meets.

I never attempted to stunt, and I do not intend to do in future too.

yaar no guy is interested in stunting.....except ragGZ, me n moeed ..........i guess few might nt be interested ,few bother abt their bikes n few got bored stunting all d way.......k anyways lets make it a normal meet and the guys interested in stunting il carry on with it aftr the meet and its my humble and pleading request yaa plz any guys good at stunting teach us out there...........plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

well..i tried stunting then left it because many people told me the -ve side ..

there is no ''teacher in xbhp''' for stunting .. but we can pull off some stoppies and pop wheelies

btw why do you guys want to screw your bikes ?

@kriss - KP, boo and Ravi anna rode my bike, no major problems on it except for my assumptions. Just need to get the crab cleaned and change jets and yeah set the timing gear to the stock condition. That wud be don on by either this wednesday or Thursday. Anna about teh stunting part, i ask you always cos i was told u really pull some amazing stoppies (rolling stoppies as well i think, if am not wrong, ur friend who came for drag meet, the U.S return guy, told me that)

@Kp - anna, i have the jacket and the gloves, bit no good knee caps. Gotcha buy one.

@vams - dude, lets make it man. Seems like the intrests are more likely common with most of 'em here

@sam - bhai, everything has a postive and negative side. I know it screws the bike and a fall is the worst of the breed, but just wanna try one. Any help with stoppies and old school wheelies. Boo did tell me that u gotcha have a lot of money for stunts, so pulling my headlight and meter assembly off. lets see how that works

@all - i know some prefer ridin' while some prefer drags and some stunting. lets meet up as a team and respect everyone's intrest. As kriss said during teh drag meet, we can drag, talk about the issues, do some stuntin'(only those who are intrested). We can try multiple things and with BOO around, i don wanna leave him until he teaches me some wheelies

anna, i have been waiting for 3months to get learn this stuff anna. Boo is the only one who can do it, cos sahil got a new RTR 180 and i don think, he's gonna be doing stuff on his bike!!!

you can remove the headlight thing and get a crash guard then you will be ready .. JUST IN CASE

I wasn't online for the last couple of days and didn't make it to the G2G since I had a plan with a old bunch of friends. Kriss, any guesses where I had been? Yes Anatagiri lol.

Okay so some of us apprehensive for stunts for obvious reasons and many are bored with the Drag and Tour type G2Gs? I think I just read someone mention an OFFROAD G2G. Maybe someone can suggest a nice off road strech which should be atleast 2-3kms and we can have some fun.

Sahil - you can teach us all the off roading skills and also suggest some place where we can have a meet. BTW Congrats for the new steed.

@Moeed, good stuff... but pls don't stress your platina so much - it cannot take those high speed rides.

Thanks for the advice bro. But I cannot control ripping if the road is smooth. Will try to control this need for speed.

Man u seriously need a bike with higher CC and some decent riding gear....ur fast becoming 2nd ravikiran,sumit of hyd xbhp!

If u keep on going like this ur platina might need an overhaul in another 10k kms

Thanks for your concern bro. But the problem with me is that I am a riding addict. I spend each and every rupee which I get on petrol. That's why I never thought of riding gears. I feel that I can spend that money on petrol and do some more rides. I cannot control this addiction. Hope you understand.
As far as the overhauling thing is concerned, I have warranty till 50000 km so if anything goes wrong I'll dump it straight away at the service center.

My story is different from the rest of you guys. I have spent all my life in Saudi Arabia where there were no bikes and only cars. I used to rent ATV's and ride there. I learned driving at the age of 10 but I didn't know how to ride a bike.

Whenever I used to come to India, I used to crave about riding bikes. But no one would give me their bike. The first time I rode was when I was in 4th grade(I was just holding the handle and controlling the throttle). It was my uncle's LML Vespa. My first ride was when I was in 6th grade when I came for vacations to India and it was my uncle's kinetic honda. Rode it for about 4km. Was the happiest person on earth then. Next was the Chetak which I rode in 11th grade. The first bike which I rode was a Passion Plus when I was in 12th grade. I finally shifted to India in 2007 for my higher studies. Took my uncle's Activa while he was out of station. Rode it for 20km at speeds of 80-85kmph even when I didn't know how to ride a 2 wheeler properly. I was really passionate about riding bikes. I even tried stunting on my friend's chetak. Did a nice wheelie on it. Finally I got admission into college. Went to college by an auto for the first few days. But I got frustrated with the traffic and the time being wasted to commute.

So I decided that I would use my grandpa's chetak which was not in use for several years and had clocked only 4000km in 20 years. This is how the rider in me was born. At first, I was scared to take the scooter to college as I didn't know how to ride properly. But somehow I managed to do it. The day I took my scooter to college was another happy moment in my life. My college is 10km from my home and I covered this distance in 15mins. I learnt riding through the hard way, crashing several times and skidding in the rain, on oil and sand. I didn't even have a driving license nor I had the RC, insurance, pollution of the scooter. I didn't even bother to wear a helmet at that time. So had to pay a hefty sum whenever I was challaned. This was not all. I used to do speeds more than 60 while going to the college in the morning. On the way comes a flyover where I would do 80+ kmph daily and my max was 90kmph on that flyover. Due to this ripping my scooter returned a mileage of 20kmpl. I was really disappointed with the mileage.

Finally I decided that I want a bike as I have learned riding after covering some 11000 km on the scooter. But I was in a dilemma as to which bike should I choose. I just had two options in my mind either those high end bikes or the commuter. I didn't think about the 150cc bikes. The bikes on my list were Karizma or P220(for looks, performance) or Platina(for mileage). I thought over this for a long period of time and finally decided to buy the Platina. But no one supported my decision. My mom said me to go for a better bike and was ready to buy me the Karizma or the P220 but that would mean only riding from home to college and back. I was so addicted to riding that I chose to kill my desires for all those high end bikes and listen to what my heart says since I wished to do 100000km on my bike. I decided on the Platina as I wanted to make the most out of each and every liter of petrol. I knew that I wouldn't get permission for riding on the highways and had to manage the cost of petrol with my limited pocket money. This was the only way out. So finally after much persuading at home I bought my platina. It's been around 11 months riding it and I feel that I made the right decision. I have covered 27000km mostly by city rides and short highway rides. I had to quench my thirst by doing short rides as long rides are not allowed. I ride for 80-90 km daily. I'll buy a new bike as soon as I complete 100000 km on my bike. I plan to go for a superbike as I would start earning by that time. Till then I am gaining experience by munching miles.
