Sad news

well guys i have just met with a very strange,shocking and unknowing accident ...
it all happened when i was returning from college [LFJC,uppal] at 4 pm yesterday . there were 4 riders me , my friend[suhaib] as my pillion and 2 others on a different bike .. everything was going smooth .. when i reached habsiguda i saw a small traffic jam .. a bus had stopped for its stop and there was a TATA SUMO behind the bus .. i saw a small open road beside the bus and the sumo on the right hand side when i entered it i took speed as i didnt want to take any chance .. but suddenly i felt a jerk from behind and BAMM !!!!!!!
i was on the ground under my bike and my friend .. i was literally confused what happen suddenly .. but then when i regain my mental posture my friend[who were behind the tata sumo] told me that when i almost took the sumo it accelerated and touched its nose to my tail .. and that was it !
i ran to the driver literally banged his door open pulled him out and was giving him blows on his face about 4-5 times .. kicked him about 5-6 times ..punched him on his face 2-3 times when he was on the ground i was continuously kicking him .. then 3 of my friends pulled me saying '''sam let him go ..your going to kill him or what '' . i was in such a shock i didnt realize my pain .. after every one had left i saw my damages .. both my knees,elbow,hands git cuts ,, my hip bone is badly swollen , shoulder bone is paining and has swollen .and my head was spinning badly as if somebody had twisted it ...my friend had recived a 1 cm cut on his palm nothinng else .. that is because he landed on me and my hip bone took about 200 KGs of weight
but the reason i am sitting here is only because i was wearing my jeans , jacket and helmet
my jeans had got a small hole , my jacket tore a little and my helmets visor had a crack and some scratches .. i still remember the the time i was falling and my head going and hitting the road and REBOUNDING !
IF i didnt wear a helmet that time i would have been admited to a hospital
i am not able to walk properly now .. my whole body is paining and my shoulder and hip bone has swollen like a watermelon ..
i took a TT injection today ,.,
my bikes front dome got a crack and scratches and crash guard had broken off

There's a lesson to learn here... Sam, myself, Ravi, Booo all of us got saved from major injuries and a possible death because we were wearing good gear...

There was no way Booo could have avoided a few months in teh hospital if not for the DSG jacket... he got dragged on his chest.

Oye! Am the veteran king of the group lol. One accident per month was my record for like 8 months :P touchwood, since many months, not a single scratch on me or my bike

i have decided to buy a dsg jacket ..
i am very happy that because of XBHP . i have learnt to wear a jacket,helmet,and shoes .. or else it would have been much serious

U should have gone to the doc by now so u dont deserve any smpathy from here

BTW be ready to spend 3-4k rs for the repairs for ur RTR....u know TVS spares are very cheap

Another Accident?

Hey Sam - U r a lucky guy - there is no competition between a sumo and an rtr so U must b very very thankful that U just got away with a lill pain and a few bruises and U don't worry much - just b patient, look after yourself and you should b fine soon - eat right, sleep tight - accidents too are a part of the biking phenomenon.

Sometimes things happen due to our mistake, sometimes due to others mistake and at times due to a lill mistake from both the ends. In all cases, even the sumo driver is a human being and that is the reason why he might have made a mistake and there is every chance that there cud have been some mistake from our end too.

In any case, in a accident we wud have already lost control of the bike but then the most important thing is to have control over ourselves - with little practise we can control any bike but its more difficult to control ourselves. I don't know if I am boring U guys but if U get involved in an accident, if its not too worse, first thing is try getting up and check yourself if everything is fine - minor bruises etc can be ignored and once that is confirmed, check your bike and get it up and then you can go n see the other guy - in case the other is also on a bike, U never know he might be in need of attention and cud b badly hurt himself - m sure nobody wud want to spoil the situation by beating up an already hurt guy.

Some Gandhigiri will help in these situations. Even if it was a sumo, what will happen to the guy? U beat him up and he wud end up thinking if he really deserved that or not and will have a bad impression on bikers - instead if we can be polite with him, we can make him feel really sorry for his mistake and that in turn will make him be more careful and respectful for bikers in future. Even in the worst case, hitting someone badly won't undo what has happened - will it?

All said, come what may, I am sure even a 100 yrs from now when we wud have reached the pinnacle of technology, we will have talking cars, bikes etc etc but accidents will still occur if not anywhere else, atleast in India.

the only mistake which i noticed was i was overtaking a sumo thats it

it was a sudden shock man .. imagine a person coming from behind and hitting you ? ,, its a normal instinct to react like that
he knows that he has done a mistake..that is why when i was beating the hell out of him he was saying that '''i am sorry i am sorry '''
but i could not control because saying sorry wont repair my bike or my body
but beating him will atleast bring me some mental satisfaction ..
and he wont try to ''CUT'' the road so swiftly ...i just hate those drivers who think they are ALONSO that is why atleast i have strightned one person ..


xbhp rides are different ,, when the crash happened .. all helped and there was a mutual understanding .. but here the first thing he was trying is to run away .. IF he got down and helped me or my bike i would have just quarreled and took some cash or talked to his owner .. but the moment he tried to run there was a ATOMIC explosion in my body and i couldnt control
