@FuriousVolt, how were u riding ur bike when u hit the pothole that u damaged both the mags??? Were u dreaming as if u r riding a horse and galloped?

Correction! That day I was following another bike, hence the pothole or else I could have avoided it. Will tell what happened this Sat.

BTW, When is the meet and at what time,
I need to get my R15 serviced. Engine oil color is almost black, Chain is making sounds as if Anu Mallik is the music director and need to smoothen up the gears.And whole night yesterday, It was standing on left RVM insted of stand and i can see slight mis-alignment in the mirrors.

hey guys theres a good new .. my dad just agreed to buy my RTR a new rear tyre .. cost may max till 2.5k ..
anyone knows any good shops where i can get more options ? and also the price factor may be considered .. ?///
if you guys have any suggestion then BARK out ..kidding guys ...

Why do you want to put in a bigger tyre....that too 130 section? U want me to beat you in a drag with my splendor kya?

110 would be the max! IMO 100/90 is the perfect tyre for RTR. 2.5k only for the rear huh??? check out michellens......head to ranigunj anna there are lot of tyre shops!

Sam, I suggest u to go for softer compound tyres instead of fatter tyres. Try Micheliens, Ceat, Dunlop.... Ravi has a good one on his ZMA. Also, if u decided to for fatter tyres, don't go beyond 120 section and check if you can get 18" tyres in MRF Zapper Wide (RaviKiran got this) - this is soft compound.

I don't think u can go for more flesh without cutting the swing arm.

Hero Honda geared up with the new Karizma

even i had the same doubt .. so 130 is off the list ,,
and do soft compound last long and on wet surface ..
remember i dont ride only on tracks

The Zapper Wide is not as soft as the tyres on the R15. And you have to come to my home once to see what terrain I drive on. Daily!

Yes, soft compound tyres do not last as long as the regular tyres but they offer good grip... they are not very expensive either... I think the money you save from going for a fatter tyre would compensate pretty well for the lower life of a soft compound tyre.
