I thank God your friend was on you&not the Sumo! It happened to my Dad many years back. His survival&coming back to normalcy was a miracle.
But anyways, a much worse accident took place with me even before I used to own a bike. Some close friends know about it. I was a lidless pillion. If I would have had a lid on, I would have been out of that accident unscathed. So, when I was given my first bike, it was made mandatory for me (even though there was no helmet rule) by my Dad to always ride with a helmet on!

On the lighter side, speaking of LFJC, I remember how I used to bunk school&go to meet my 1st gf borrowing my friends' bikes. The Tarnaka-Uppal stretch was the 1st time I did 100 on a bike back in 2001 on a Samurai!

I Met with an accident!!! in front of IBM building Raheja.....Bike is in bad condition the gear rod axle seems to have got pressed inside! hate to see my bike in that condition (worst is i am scraping from office)
