Awesome twisties but the road's surface was bad.. full of oil spills all around the corner atleast at 6-7 corners..

aah..thanks for the info Razor..that's what I was wondering..It never looked familiar to me as a spot on NH17.

Is it a section of Amboli ghat? Did you guys take right turn near Nipani or something? Anyways, nice pics of the spot. Thumbs up!

no we tried the kohlapur route this time to NH17.. I would say better than Amboli.. the first 34 kms are a pain in the a$$ because of the bad roads after that its okay kind..

Just loved the view from the point where we stopped, we could see the entire ghat's twists and turns and oil spills...

Should have taken a panorama picture of the ghats from the place where we stopped.

Overnight "HOLI g2g"

DATE: 6th-7th March, SAT-SUN...

VENUE: To be decided. (Sumwhere near, like Anirudh's farmhouse, had already requested Calvin to confirm about the place)

PLAN: Leave on SAT evening after office.
Chill out at destination which will be hardly an hours ride away from Panvel.
Play Holi on Sunday morning n chill-out again, back by evening 5-6pm.

Oh sorry i cannot make it this weekend, i plan to wash my clothes, shoes, bike, clean my apartment, take a shower, detan (damn goa tan)....
i will also try and complete the triplog for the rajasthan trip...Satyen is planning to kill me if i dont this weekend..
