vaise wat was the total fuel cost for the trip for each bike..?

lol....btw the 37 min mark was also achieved 3 guys tailing him!!! on a zma, 180 and a freakin RTR!!!.. .so much about anup cribbin bout his bike being slow...that ambi was doin constant 95-100 on curves.. that stretch was crazy. .. just ripping away to glory..

My solo 300kms ride from thane-satara was crazy as well. WIth a 35w headlight all i could see was those three strips of the centre line running through the road.I called it the lifeline...! left mc d panvel at 12.05 am reached pune by 2am. Then finally caught up with the gang at around 4 am near satara about 60 kms from kolhapur. Was wearing 1 t-shirt+1 full sleeve shirt+ 1 pullover+ 1 jacket.little help there.

It cost me roughly 3k...3 full tanks...

@Cos: Good to see people trying to beat my so-called record (1000km 15hrs solo). Btw I did a 610km in one go (3 stops pee - drink tea/water) yesterday night 9hrs (10pm 7th dec-7am 8th dec)........ and did a Lonavala-Panvel in flat 25min today morning..... now beat that !!

Thanks Chetan....wow....finally i feel good about the entire season...one whole year of riding to almost all the places in the time that was alloted ..in terms of leaves...gathering people from xbhp and other community..i have made some good friends here....
razor, motorb, inder, cos, shiva, chetan, darth, meisrossi, winzee, spider, aman, papa and his yonger bro nikhil, so many names that i missed out on.oops!! short term memory loss....never before has any forum been able to gather so many like minded people together..afai..think...and its good to see the bonding between all the mumbai and the pune guys that i have met..zero attitude...gr8 tolerance to my poor jokes...amazingly coperative....actually ready to be there whenever u need them for something...

Dhaba G2G, Garage G2G, man there are names that we can come up with also not to forget probably the next one Shadi G2G.(I know a lot of u want that very soon )...

I started this year with gautam to Raigad ..hardly did i know that i will be doing so many rides this year...actually thanks to coperation of razor that i could visit so many places...nd then cos and shiva who perstered me to make plans to ride long distance trips with them in the later part of the year...
but now,
i guess this was the last ride and now its time to slow down on these things...

I will ride...no doubt but to office and may be once or twice to some place and i wish all the guys would join in like they did this year.....

coming up for 2009....Agra.....Jaisalmer.....Kanyakumari.....cho ose between them and ride will be in June and then in November only....

I will be on this website and passing my comments....and dont forget to call me for chota mota G2G..dhaba and Dinner G2G.....

What a "straight from the heart" post Anup..!! Ab tune ye post to aise likha hai ki jaise ye tera aakhri "long" ride tha aur iske baad sirf short G2Gs attend karega .. lolzzzz....

Vaise, kudos to you buddy....you did so many rides lately....that you musn't have done till now(since you joined xBhp)....m i right on this..??(This is as far as i can remember)

@ Anup--Congrats on achieving what you did... with back pain this is a no mean feat to achieve...Its indeed nice to know u..
Xbhp bought us together, even though we lived in the same city 4 kms apart, went to the same school!!! shared the same sunsign, sad jokes, danced lik an egyptian as well!! even the career path seems the same one that u tread on once!! and yeah shared the same passion for travelling. I will never forget the kashid ride all my life bro... the best ride ever, coz I met couple of great friends, hope there are many more to come.

I never did it for the sake of compitition (it happened by itself... as it happened with them).... just my personal best..... btw I also did kolhapur-satara (115km) in 1hr flat at 110-115kmph constant (at a point racing with a mighty Volvo B7R bus ... I beat him ).... with sumit trailing behind... trying to keep up pace

PS: No offence..... no compitition... we are bikers with safe riding as our first motto.... !!!

ya inder i had done rides before too however this yr was dedicated to riding and i didnt want to miss out on the beautiful places...to be honest, darthlucifer was the guy who pushed me to seeing the better part of the country and all his stories about places inspired me to go for it.......razor is the guy who accompanied me for most of the rides....and friends like all of you to come and meet for g2g...daru was mainly responsible for getting all of us close....

oye meisrossi......i am not going to die....but i will be less involved in long rides.....and g2g's.....but dude we will meet all the time...here.....chill man....

chetan....whats going on...kabhi bolta hai paisa nahi hai...kabhi bhi ride pe chala jaata hai....dude why didnt u come with us for the ride......

now that u'll know distance doesnt matter....touring is tough but its fun....do some rides....

kerala is damn beautiful and its a must see.....

guys....plan a ride there......karnataka...i remember seeing triplog on jog falls...mezmerizing.....

rajasthan.....jaipur..jaisalmer...and so many places as such....

save money....and apply for leaves in advance...plan and ride.....1 week should be more than enough to do a nice 2000+ km ride....

well said man,though i have come for very short g2gs.I still remember you during the kashid ride overtaking two parallel trucks with ur kn roaring , scared the daylights out of me just watching you do that..
Ps-so u have planned to get age grace fully and get demoted from a tourer to a office commuter.
