                        • A Day to remember

5th Feb, 1530 hrs: 4 Xbhpians waiting eagerly to catch a glimpse of the best super bikes money can buy. I, Jyoti, Hitesh and Siddhant had arrived half an hour earlier just to make sure that we can see the super bikes arriving in style. Soon after Dev joined us on his Hunk and the discussion started (Not to mention the topic of discussion ).

At around 4 o'clock we heard a faint sound; slowly the intensity of the sound kept on increasing and it grew into a deep throaty growl. But we were yet to see which bike it was. Finally the Vmax arrived accompanied by the Monster 796 as their exhaust note reverberated along the street. The exhaust note of the Vmax was orgasmic to say the least and it marks its presence well before arriving. A moment later Dev bhai and Balraj bhai arrived. In no less than a minute a huge crowd (including us ) had gathered to let their eyes feast on those beautifully crafted machines. Soon after the Goldwing, HD Roadking and HD Heritage Softail joined the other two mammoths and man it was a sight, all 5 bikes parked together. Before the ride started we clicked a few photos of the SBKs' but sadly I dropped my camera and it stopped functioning for a moment and when it came back to life the batteries were discharged. So had to satisfy myself with my mobile cam.:

Ducati 796 Monster with Yamaha Vmax

                          HD Heritage Softail

Dev's hunk with projector and angel eyes

                          Ducati!

                          Vmax

Finally the ride started along the preset route. As expected the bikes atrracted the attention of almost everyone en-route . The R1 and another Goldwing joined the rest of SBKs' mid-way as we continued the journey. As Balraj bhai had some work at office he left the pack at sishubhawan square. On our way back to XIMB, CCD Swayambhu bhai joined us. Thanx swayambhu bhai for joining us on such a short notice . After the ride had a chat with Jeetu bhai, Altaf bhai n other SBK owners and then the final photo-session started.
Thanx jeetu bhai for the letting us join you guys and the coffee.
