      so the g2g is fixed for 29th right????dats great....btw where is it going to be held..cause as far as i understand its either ccd at ximb square or deras da rite.....so which 1 is it finally????

        The meeting place should be CCD, XIMB Square. We havent yet decided the destination, yet!!

        I was actually thinking of a Cornering/Showoff G2G.Any ideas!!

            Actually I was also thinking about it after reading the Lavasa cornering thread. Also we have to start early in the morning to avoid traffic(If we plan to make it a cornering G2G)...
            But is there any location where we could try cornering/show off in BBSR???

              How about a ride to Dhauli????
              The traffic is very less in that area and the road is very nice. It also has a few curves and twisties....the location is perfect for you know what i mean

                Even i was thinking of Dhauli.Also near Uttara, the road which leads to Konark(Nimapara one) as an awesome stretch to do cornering but as it's a State highway it has got quite a bit off traffic and also doesnt seem safe but still is a great place to try cornering.

                One more place would be the newly constructed road near Khandagiri which has got twisties to try out.

                    it struck my mind today.....how about the newly constructed TCS compound road...the road is pretty wide for cornering.....

                      Had a really busy week. First work, then a non-biking trip to Vizag, and finally, what I had been waiting for weeks, a ride to Tikarpada-Satkosia. Will be posting the log, but now, back to the G2G.

                      TCS bend is good for cornering, given you have the skills to take the bend at the right speed in the right gear. The incline makes it a little tough to handle if you haven't tasted it on plain roads. Any NH around the 200 km of BBSR is not suited for the same, being mostly straight and very slight bends. So the stunters could carry the xBhp BBSR flag here.

                      I will be available on 29th for a meetup, but seems unlikely I could venture out on a ride. That's for the time to tell. Other ppl, pitch in with suggestions.

                        thats true...the incline is pretty steep and it may be too difficult to manage a perfect corner there. thanks for the prompt reply

                              Guyz, This G2G wont last more than a couple of hours.It's my sincere request that you ppl try to take some time to make this G2G a successful as we are having a G2G after such a long time!!

                              Are you sure you will be riding down from PRKL to BBSR. I wouldnt recommend it. We will definitely want to meet you but for that we should plan a trip to Gopalpur and nearby places!!

                                Unfortunately, I got my joining letter from TCS and am supposed to join at Trivandrum on 30th Nov. So, coming down to the g2g wud not be a possibility as I would be leavin for Trivandrum on 26th Nov. itself...
