As you can see its showing 142 km and the map is pointing to the centre of the park, which is not correct. we wont be able to go that far on bike. Click the link and zoom in. what my friend suggested that if we want to do boating and see stuff than we should continue on the NH9, past Demal we can get boat at Jayanagar or Chandbali.
As most of us agreed for 26th jan but i like too now your views also for 25th jan. as its a Saturday. all IT guys will have holiday, the petrol pump will be open on that day.
so give as your thought and make the date final.
This is what my friend has suggested
I'm not in favour of taking the long rout through chandikhol as it will add 25+25 = 50 km [for few its 2l of more petrol] more to the trip. i have gone to kendarapada on 5th of dec13 the road are good, but there is a patch of 5 -10 km around salepur which is little bit rough, not anything like off-road or big pot holes. say your speed will come down to 50kmh.

. or else i would have suggested far more distance. as the plan is to keep it under 200km [one side], so that we can return on the same day. so guys checkout some place within these range. keep in mind petrol bunk may be closed in the town.
