  • ^ Thanks for the R15 test ride, Jatin. Now it is confirmed that there is no way I fit on it .

As for the dhaba, it would be good if an alternative is found. I asked the dhaba chaps why the "out-of-stock" and got a really self-important "we were busy till 2 AM last night" as a response. Time for another place me thinks.

    • At the very beginning, I'd suggest a change in the way this meet has been titled. I feel the need for this small change after interacting with the newcomers today. 'Newbie' pertains to a rookie, a fledgling or a beginner. Yes, quite a few were 'beginners' in xBhp. But then xBhp is about riding and sharing and most are beyond the 'newbie' stage in these. My suggestion is to name all such meets as 'new-member meets'. A trifling change but I feel it changes the way the newcomer's will be looked at.

The meet-up today was a truly heartening event. The enthusiasm, the promise of commitment and the willingness to share was inspiriting. Lots of perceptions and versions about what xBhp is for individuals came up. Yet the background remained the same - an undeniable need to share a common passion, a niche to retreat into and live in a world where knowing and doing revolves around two-wheels in motion. A world where you don't have to justify your love for riding. That love in fact is a pre-requisite here.

In my two decades and more of riding, my strongest friendships have been forged on the anvil of motorcycling. Those relationships have lasted umpteen changes in our individual lives. And still remain the most valued asset for us.

I wish you all new members a wonderful time with xBhp. Each one of us is here to share and care. Consider yourselves as a part of a huge and very humane fraternity.

Tilak: We need to talk about using those two legs as much as the two wheels . Would love to learn about those little-known trekking routes.

Prashant: Tall-man #2. Good to catch up with you and looking forward to seeing you two travelers here more often. Tell Vaibhav we'll arrange for the keema paranthas somehow.

Aryan: Wonderful pics. They tell the morning's story. Your good deeds will ensure that Chandratal remains open for you this year long enough for you to go there not once but twice .

Ken: Great initiative. This was much needed and the whole meet was executed pretty well. Thanks!

PS: There's a sudden deluge of 'aviation' people in xBhp. Thanks guys for making life less lonely for me . Now I have one more reason to attend the G2G's. Talk flying and aircraft that is.
I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
