The Official Bangalore Offline Meet (G2G) Thread

Hi All!

One thing I realised with today's getogether is that scarcer the meets are, more the enthusiasm would be to meet up. The riders were all so starved of a ride, that about 30 bikes got together..... more than those confirmed for the ride on the thread!

I propone that xBHP-named meets, like today's, can be restricted for once a month for a few reasons that I reckoned:

a. Provides space to decide and discuss
b. Provides space to gather/collect enough enthu for the ride
c. Provides space to regather/recollect more enthu for the next ride
d. Provides space to accomodate private rides/tours/bike-jobs in parallel to xBHP meets/rides
e. Provides space to accomodate all nearby places of interest all year around
f. All of the above

Any ideas ideating from anybody to contrast my point of view? Lets have a healthy discussion on this.

Doent make sense to me atleast, not even one point

Its more than visiting some place or riding with the group or planning a year long trips from now. And it never works like this untill we want to go for a long rides.

Look guys tum log jitna bhi plan wan banake chaloge na unta hi ulta hota hai.. main ride pe jane ka confirmation humashe last moment ek din pehle deta hun.... because its simple yaar things are no fun where as when its not planned its more exiting,interesting and enjoyable cause you dont have a fixed expectation kinda thing.. Imagine we paln the next trip a month later,, obvious all of us exited but if at all something goes wwrong consider todays ride itself tell me would you enjoy such a g2g i dont hink so....

anyways that my way of looking at things accept it if you like it else i have no issues in what you guys do..... All in All ride matters...

Maybe morning to evening on the 1st and then celebrate eid in the evening with some biriyani.

I don't think so you ppl got the point wat Prajwal wanted to say...Anyway ....wat i learnt from last gtg is ...if anybody is not comfortable on high speed other people never bother about that. From NICE road junction to till Maddur MTR never felt like I m in a group.

I think we should b more clear about maintaining speed. Before making any plan this point also should get strong place that we are gonna maintain so n so speed. So If i feel I m not comfortable I won't join ..Isn't it my fellow bikers ??? Otherwise my bikers mate will keep me 60km behind which will give me a solo ride feel

Or else somebody have to push his bike 6 km ahead for hunting petrol

Hi... great to see xbhp back.
i m amrit... remember me...?? silver pulsar 150...??
i was there in NICE-Kanakpura road-close to hogenakkal G2G in August. it was my first and till date the only G2G.

boy... after this server change... i was searching my id for last whole week... if try to register afresh with same id (singh.amrit.007), it said "the id already exist" and if i search it it said "no records found"

so had to make a new id. i am glad that xbhp is back and so am i.

by the look of it, i guess i missed on one g2g on 28th sep...

anyway... when is the Next one... ??????????

OK cool .. tomo then.

We leave at about 5.30 in the morning for mysore. Let's meet at corporation bus stop as it is central. Then we leave for mysore with a stop a lokaruchi for brakfast and maddur CCD for coffee. We wait in mysore till the palace is lighted up doing the other features like the zoo and some riding around town in the meantime.

After seeing the palace lit up we rush to brindavan gardens/or depending on how late it is we rush home. It should take 2.5 hours to come back to bangalore so we'll have dinner enroute.

What say? I'll start a thread for this.

archi has planned for hogenekkal this weekend.. I am not able to join this ride.. hav some plan for the morning till afternoon.. mostly i ll be free in the evening

I am not discouraging anyone against it with this, but i would like to know how many are not going .. may be whoever is in city tht day can meet up in barrista/coffee day .. where we usually flock !! open to ideas guys .. pour in .
