Kurla-CST road is the (un)official junkyard of mumbai man. you will get 220 headlight assemblys being sold for as low as 800 bucks over there...less for the projectors separately. get it from there, open the seal beam up and install it yourself. Kinda like a DIY

@ steelbreeze

The headlight projector with angel eyes which these guys provide for say 1800 to 3600 bucks is very very sub standard.
DO NOT even think about purchasing it.

If you need a projector, buy a genuine projector of a high end car from junk and install a bulb in it.

But to be honest, a projector specially with angel eye will never suit a bull's personality.

You can do something like this.

here, you can install 2 projectors on the sides with hid (ofcource after sourcing another hid kit) and retrofit them in projectors.
Keeping your existing headlamp as it is with an H4 halogen bulb.
Would look better and feel better too.

Otherwise,
Can source small 3 inch autopal sealbeams and install them in this manner.

But again, here you can use H4 hid bulb already, so you'll have to just source another.

If currently you don't wish to spend more, you can do what a good friend of mine (Vishal has done)

Hence, it will be use it only when you need it to avoid people swearing funda...

So, i suggest do not cut the reflector and install an HID in that, use the hid maybe projectors too on the crash guard, will look much much better.

I guess the assembly in the video won't suit my bike as it has black on the reflector and the color of my bike is burgundy/maroon.

This same projector with ballast and bulb and angel eye is available for 3500~3800 bucks across many shops in mumbai.
I can let you know where to buy from if you need it...

I've opened up this projector and have seen everything personally.
Let me warn you, its very very bad in quality as well as output, in a day or two the inner surface turns white from chrome.
The output is not better than standard halogen too.

If you are going for projector, go for good quality ones like sajjt is using or from junk to save cost...

Hi All Bike Gurus, I have an Apache 150 fitted with 35W HID and it draining battery (Sonic Rodheo 9Ah). I have brought a Bajaj UG4 RR. I want to connect UG4 RR to charge the battery instead of the stock one. If that is not possible, then I am ready to remove the HID and go for Philips 55/60 Halo. Pls pls pls guide me with this one. If not HID - the 55/60 halo is more than enough for me. HELP NEEDED!!!!!

Open the Lighting Coil which is behind the LH cover and post a picture of it here so that members can tell you the wire which you need to un-ground.

If you want to do rewinding then check this out
electrical modification, convert apaches to full dc with power to run hids all day!
Even thought its for Apache RTR 180 ,you will get a good idea.
