Talking Hairs coming out of P180 Silencer, What & Why?

Guys, I was washing my bike today morning, when I saw an unfamiliar sight.

Hairs were coming out of my P180's silencer. Some observations:-->

1. They were continuously coming, as if the whole silencer is filled up with it.

2. Bike started & sounded normally. Although, after removing them, a "woof" kind of sound that comes normally, increased a bit.

3. The Grey/Black/Brown hairs felt a bit, like Glass pieces were attached to it. I started itching very badly, I had to take a bath urgently! (not a joke)

4. These hairs broke easily.

Some pics:-->

My question is - What is this "hairy stuff" & is it supposed to be in my End Can? and secondly, is my bike alright?

I am really confused. Can anyone help?

If i am not mistaken those are glass wool which absorb unwanted sound coming from exhaust(i.e to moderate).I really don't know how they have come outside of their own.

^^ All stock exhaust pipes are designed after a lot of research and trials to get the best tuned length so as to balance the equation between efficiency in overall performance and the noise & pollution levels. They also take into consideration the engine's displacment and torque,etc.
As the 150 and 180 differ in displacement and most importantly in power and torque ratings, fitting an exhaust other than the company recommended one would affect the performance of the bike.

Externally the exhausts are similar.

Hope that clears your doubts.
