Hairs coming out of P180 Silencer, What & Why?

        I guess, after reading all the replies, I better NOT get it changed. Rather I should remove these hai...(oops Sorry!) ... glasswool!

        Also, I noticed that they don't come out now. They are connected to some "metal wires".

        and apologies for calling 'em hairs, but I loved each and every joke about them! Xbhp rocks!

          Dont worry dude, its a common problemwith the Bajaj Ps...
          have a look, it was while our midway to Lavasa...!!!
          It just changed the bike's grunt...

            but his silencer was sorta damaged from the inside (heavily corroded)......

                anyway, AFAIK only classic pulsars came equipped with catalytic converters

                Later on no version of the DTSIs had CAT CON.
                2002 - Pulsar 150 Classic (Still owned)
                2005 - Pulsar 150 Dtsi (Still owned)
                2006 - Eterno (sold)
                2008 - Dio (Owned)
                2009 - Pulsar 220 DTSi

                  How come they comply for the Pollution Control then?

                  I guess CAT CON s are present even in the current gen of Pulsars!
