    Calling all wing Riders!!!!!
    HONDA Safety Rally!!!

    This is a Safety Rally organized at Suburb of mumbai where Helmet and safety gears are considered as Show-off. now a day's people have started to wear helmets and that to for name sake. the reason behind this rally is to promote safety up to a extent where the helmet and riding gears are not considered as show-off but a necessity.

    The rally is organized along with HONDA, From Dombivali to Badlapur. however the only condition that HONDA has mentioned is that only HONDA Bike's and MOPEDS are allowed to join rally, and also Considering this that not all XBHP member have HONDA they have agreed to Provide us with 15-20 HONDA bikes for rally.

    We have also arranged for a short speech from Zubin Patel, along with Traffic Police of the city

    I Except a cheering response from the XBHP Member's and also i ask for HELP for improve the Safety standard in my HOME TOWN.

    Details:

    Date: 9th January 2011

    Start Point: VJ HONDA, KDMC Grounds,
    Near Pendarkar College,

    Dombivali East.

    End Point: VJ Honda,
    Near Karjat Highway
    Badlapur MIDC
    Badlapur East


    Rally Start at: 10.30 am

    NOTE: The HONDA Bikes will be provided on first come first serve basis. Please call me a day before if you wish to join the rally and have a bike booked before hand if you are coming from a long distance.

    Also Please Bring all the gears that you own/ arrange.

    MANDATORY THING:

    Documents

    a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
    b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
    c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
    d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
    e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.

    Safety Gear

    a. Helmet:
    Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
    b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
    c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
    d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
    e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
    f. full leather suit:There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). Not compulsory though if you have wear it..

                okay...confirmed...
                A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

                        Guys,

                        Sorry To Disappoint you all as the Ride cannot be done on 9th all thank's to local police could get the required permission from them hence have started to work out for the fresh permission for next Sunday I.E. 16th jan 2011. out of 5 area could only secure 3 confirmed permission. will keep you posted for the same.

                          Tried to Get the permission for Rally on 26th No Go... .police not ready saying security reason. . had to finalize it for 16th.... Hope to see good number of XBHPians out there...

                            im already confused and to add to it all this...lol

                            im still thinking of skipping the ride on 16th and attend this...the other ride be done in the coming week making it a mega g2g...lets see how many are coming for the daman ride though...will let you know...
