First of all - Congratulations bunny!
its amazing how u were keen on ur goal to buy the Fireblade!
Most ppl give up halfway thru.
Congratulations and safe riding!

Just out of curiousity.. how much do u spend on servicing?
and the mileage is 14kmpl!
looks like a satisfactory value for a 1000cc bike

Jaipur ride was good rather comfortable except the thighs were loaded and started to hurt after and hour or riding, guess i got to get use to that.
rand it on speed 97 and then on xtraprieumin from IOC with octane booster of STP in the ratio of 10ml per liter performance was good could not feel much of a diffrence ( most diffrence is felt on lower gear at intial acceleration) was crusing at 120-130kmph.
the road back from jaipur has become really bad with furrows in the middle of two lane due to teh truck tyers , very dangerous as the bike moves in to them and difficult to get out at high speen .
Jaipur to manaser took 3 hr then another 2hr to get to noida.
i got a suprising average of 19kmpl over the eniter journey (according to the onboard gauge reading)

the servioce cost was Rs3200 breakup is :
Labour Rs 1650/- (i think a waster considering the suck my parts with glue)
oilfilter was aroud Rs 900/-
Oil - honda 10w30 Rs130/- per 800ml bottle - 4 required.
plus tax.

oh and i got a HJC FS-10 helmet , will put pics on the helmet thread .

yup same jacket, they got my size correct its a very nice fit.
though i have my doubts about the armor feels very flimsy compared to fieldsheer jacket that i have. But it has honda on it and that makes it so cool.

Hey Bunny,
nice to know about your long ride. My only problem on long rides in my neck. Thigh and back are adjusted now. 19kmpl is very nice. I get around 18.8 on my long rides. I feel the reading the bike shows is pretty accurate.
Can you tell me which oil did you put exactly? Is it semi synth. or normal ?
And whats your jacket size ? cause mine is too bog for me! even though I think my bro is gonna have it, still I feel its bigger for him as well...

Ive put extra premium full tanks a couple of times, and I have felt no difference in performance, except some knocking at low gears (1-2) on sudden acceleration.

the jacket they send was marked "L"

Oil used the the standard Honda mineral 10w30 in 800ml plasctic bottles they used 4 some was left over.Rs130/- per bottle sorry dont have any pictures looks like the same type grey color servo oil bottle with honda logo on it.Some company Sanchi or some name like it make it for them.
They recomend it Ashok (same guy who came to your place) so i stuck to it, he told me he prefers the use of normal compared to synthetic.
Personally i have seen a big diffrence in my P220 when using veedol mineral as compared to veedol symi synthetic bike was definatly smooth grear engaged better even the castrol 4t extra was good as well.
Lot of debate rages on on the matter - i would perhaps switch to semi-synthecis in the next oil change or perhaps in the 3rd service .

on fuel..
I could not make out any knocking more because i cant understand any sound in this bike its too noisy (cars i can make out) but say a definate reduction in pickup at the lower rpm range. I still havent tried sudden acceleration.

hi bunny, you have not tried sudden acceleration at all or just after the service, and have you tried any other sbk?

I have not had the luck to ride any other SBK except mine..

as for sudden acceleration i have tried it to the point i could feel blood rushing to the back of my head, but i guess that is not sudden enough for the bike
