Sorry for this OT question but its been troubling me for a long time and I cannot find any clear answers on the net....
HOW do you wear knee sliders? Do you require the riding pants or can something else (like a knee brace or similar) be worn?
In case riding pants are not mandatory, how do you fit the slider so securely that the slider does not move out of place while dragging?

If you are talking about Knee Sliders, they can only be worn with specified riding pants or one-piece leather suits which have a velcro for you to strap the knee slider on. If you are talking about knee protectors, which is what Gopi and I wore, then they can be worn over normal pants, and usually come with 2 or 3 velcro straps to fasten them tight enough. While putting your knee down on a corner, the protectors won't come off if you've fastened them tight enough.

@razorBlades: Thanks brother! Finally! Pics of me! And, damn! Knee down on your first track day. Isn't that SOMETHING! Nice one dude.

@wonderboy_tm: My pics, my pics! Put up my pics too.

I am very self-obsessed right now. XD

brilliant!
thanks for the pics razor.
i did a trackday at kari a few years ago and less than half of the people were getting in the right body position in the corner. this time, EVERYONE was getting it almost right. there were a few "Doohans" but that just requires a minor correction.

doing a Doohan means getting the butt out but leaninng the upper body away from the ground partially negating the effect of leaning off. ideally the torso should be parallel to the bike. according to Keith Code, if you want to emmulate a moto gp racer, look at rossi, not doohan.

personally, i couldnt get off my bike enough because my pegs were too close to the seat and i am too fat to work around it. and i am pissed.

Ok looks like i still need to go miles before i start clicking some good pics, but feels damn good nonetheless.

@Insidious: Nice knee down in pic. 33, i wouldn't go in so fast taking a line that wide but good that you held onto the throttle

@Razor: Thanks again for the cam, and your riding was nearly flawless out there.

^^The professional lap time is supposed to be below 2'25"000, but everybody at the track were doing a good 2'30"s which is very good considering first timers. As for the duration the first session ends at 1:30pm it's upto you to rack in the figures within that time, the track is open from 6:30-7ish i think.
