@Insidious: Nice knee down in pic. 33, i wouldn't go in so fast taking a line that wide but good that you held onto the throttle

@Razor: Thanks again for the cam, and your riding was nearly flawless out there.
Ha ha. I was more comfortable with a wider line on C8. I could get out of the corner faster that way, and the entire line was faster since I was able to easily adjust to the water puddle at the exit. But, thanks.

Just to clarify, pro times are quite a bit below that.. 2:15's for stock R15

Nice pics...small piece of advice though...everyones working hard on knee down which is nice but first work on getting the lines right. On a R15 you can go around the chennai track doing below 2:25's without putting a knee down.

not their fault, even i would want to(hey hey)

true, if you are emphasizing on knee down moments, the lines won't be perfect and will lose on lap times, good pics of bikes and riders in action

yeah was just working on the knee down and i did not bother about the lap times since it was my first day on a track

i am very bad on the lines, and i have not much idea about them either people were talking about some grey line drawn on the track and i was dumb struck

a ton more to learn

@ Killer: Did you just say "STOCK" R15's ??? or Group D spec ones ??? The group D spec bikes aren't stock, i remember you telling this to me once .... Under 2:25 is easily possible for a rider of your capability, we had to satisfied with our knee downs....

I was doing 2:27's my best there is 2:23... After a few races, i have come to a conclusion that racing lines can be learnt only by participating more in competitive riding and not track days... we were there to have some fun and we did.... PERIOD.... It would have been nice to have a person like you there.....

2:15's is for bone stock R15's right off the street with no weight reduction or anything done to them. I've personally done that time on a bike i borrowed from a friend to race in the R15 race last year...brand new bike out of the showroom and the only thing we removed were the mirrors and sidestand

Group D spec R15's do 2:11's on the full track, the record is currently held by Ten10 Racing

Hmm, dunno about that man...you learn a lot of things from racing, but something as basic as the lines you get much before getting into racing...You guys have been at it for a while so i figured i'd give you some feedback. By all means keep having fun though, thats what its about
