LORENZOOO !!! , I was betting with my friends this fellow was faking injury , let rossi n gang do the donkey work of testing and come straight in and get a podium and it did happen .
The commentators were mentioning during the moto2 race that they have a manual clutch and without much of electronics as motoGP bikes and the riders will be having a sore left hand after the race

Totally unaware of how the teams work in moto2

Your conspiracy theory about Lorenzo might just be true

Sadly the MotoGP rules don't allow a factory ride for a rookie. Anyway he went to MotoGP one year earlier than Yamaha were planning. Lets see what they do next year. If Rossi leaves yamaha they'll probably give him a factory ride depending on his performance this year. Rossi says he doesn't want to leave Yamaha and MotoGP but there have been rumours earlier that he might want to end his career in an Italian bike or an Italian F1 car.

Yamaha has stopped sharing data:
Defining line in Fiat Yamaha garage | The Official MotoGP Website

And Ducati is sharing all data around the team:

Quote:
It is a process that spreads across the satellite Ducati teams as well, as Hayden added: “We share data and anything we want. To their credit, it’s open book around there. Even between Mika Kallio’s (Pramac Racing) crew chief to Héctor Barberá’s (Páginas Amarillas Aspar), they all work out of the same truck. Everybody’s playing for the same team around there, to try to beat the other manufacturers. There are no secrets, nothing like that.”"
Lets see if the Ducs can stop the yamaha's dominance
