I guess its more or a less a lucky charm as most of the riders consider..

Any idea about the line-up of Moto2...since there was speculation that many ex-motogp riders were to join Moto2 after losing the GP ride for 2010??

Gary Mc Coy? is he coming back?(dang that WSS isn't shown live on Zee Sports) gosh! won't miss a single race and if he stays to race in 2012, the better

Toni Elias in Moto2 want him to win

Moto GP- will be more fun post 2012 and lessen the electronics, will ya?

Thumbs up MotoGP: New Ducati GP10 engine. Big Bang.

Quote:
Everyone knows that the riders who have had a chance to ride the Ducati in MotoGP in the recent years have failed at taming the beast except for the Australian ace, Casey Stoner, who won the World title in 2007. However, things are set to change in the upcoming season. There are many new things in the Ducati Desmosedici GP10 says the team’s new manager Vittoriano Guareschi.

The biggest difference in the new GP10 comes in the form of the new big bang engine which replaces the screamer that has been doing its duties in the bike for the past three years. The big bang engine will make the Ducati more rideable than before says the team manager. Another important change is the new seat support which is stiffer as compared to the older one and gives better rear tyre feedback to the rider. Ducati is continuing with their Ohlins front suspension, however, they have developed a completely new set of forks for the 2010 bike which have an added advantage under hard braking. Ducati has moved back to aluminium swingarm from the carbon one, though, they will consider the carbon swingarm as well since it is better for the development of the motorcycle in different conditions.

The recent testing at Sepang has showed that Casey Stoner was able to put the second fastest lap of all the riders while Nicky Hayden managed seventh fastest lap time in final session.

My Comments: It was already known that Honda would be offering its checkbook to Casey Stoner to sign him up.
So, Ducati had to do something sooner than later, about the engine, which was well exploited only by Casey Stoner till date. I mean, should Stoner leave, they should have a useable bike atleast.

Its great to know that both riders are showing good initial results, although tests will differ from the actual race.

Despite being a Rossi fan, I love to see Stoner win. I mean, a younger guy on a small Italian factory's racing bike, winning against the older legends & Japanese giants... It gives a great feeling!
