Na, it's just a fairing from the pulsar 150 and 180, nothing else other than that, merging it with the current 220 DTS-i will do..

your ownership of the new p220s doesn't make the bike more powerful

here is the link.. nowhere it is mentioned that more power has been extracted out of the engine! (although its mentioned that p150 has more power now)

The engine specs and output figures remain the same at 21.4PS of power and 19.2Nm of torque...

buddy read the article in march issue OD. power is the same while it is infact slower than 220F due to lack of aerodynamic fairing.

bro, if 4kg.appr0x weight is reduced after omitting the fairing and the specs of engine is same then its obvious that both average and power will increase by some value .

You cn take the example of fz and fazor ,fz has more power due to weight reduction while in magazines the power is given same .....do maths man..

Btw i like 220f looks and m thnkng of puttng the fairing in my 220s coz i like that bad boy diabolical lo0k....

And the best thng i hv n0ticed in 220s is that ,there is n0 vibrations above 110kmh....

As for the power, it remains the same although i think fairing does add a bit of weight but if (and its a big if) its aerodynamic does increase overall stability and handling (not power by any means). So overall in this case fairing does make a difference (albeit small) and on the other hand removal of fairing and projector also does make a difference (read small). So it pretty much evens out, and bajaj have been clever here not to tweak power output so as to disappoint faired owners!
