      A Streetfighter P220 ..!! Cool..!!

I am ready to ditch the half fairing on my P220 DTS-Fi and retrofit the Street Fighter kit... provided the headlamps are as powerful as the ones which currently does its duty on my bike.

P220 without the fairing. That's what I always wanted.

          I have already ditched it!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

            "Radical remedies" ? !

First it was DTSFi that had lot of vibes in the fairing, next DTSi was not far off, with dozen damping elements, the vibes just got worser, and now they are removing the fairing and claim it as radical remedy ? That's utter bull shit, next news will be "Bajaj readies for EXTREME remedies" and it will say the fairing mounted mirrors are removed and put back in original place like other Pulsars !!

And how many times you have ridden it to say that the vibes got worser?

And who said that the fairing will be removed? With my limited grasping power I think that the article states that they are coming with another variant of P220DTS-i.

                  Shant Vast.. Shant..
Take a deep breadth and take a Chill Pill.

The title of the article seemed to have misled you.. You seem to have jumped the Gun once again (like you did last time with the Glamour PGM-Fi price reduction thing)..

In all probability this would be a new Street Fighter "Variant".. which will be sold along with the Half Faired variant (Yamaha FZ-16, FZ-S, Fazer "Ishtyle"..??).. the article doesn't state anywhere that the Half Faired variant is being discontinued.. does it..??

By the way, I have failed to comprehend as to what makes you so concerned about BAL related news when you never ride a BAL product..?? Keep yourself busy with Honda related threads.. why pollute the atmosphere on non-Honda related threads..??

Its not about fairing vibes getting worse...Its about not rectifying a very very common and reknowned problem.....

I mean how can they still keep those same RVMs when the biggest issue faced by almost all 220 FI owners was the no show of RVMs...

Fairing vibrations would probably be the secondmost common issue...!

According to Bajaj guys a P220 dtsi has 16 tapes for the fairing...
and still the vibrations are real irritating. They take away the real fun of speeding up.

I sincerely hope they keep the projector headlamps on a naked bike, would be worth while.

Also, I think Bajaj might be gearing up for a Pro kit for pulsars.

All I can say is that there is consistent improvement in all the products. Agreed that there are some niggling issues but then I am sure that Bajaj is doing their bit in rectifying it.

Secondly, the news mentions a naked streetfigher and like payeng pointed out, vipin jumped the gun and missed the point again...

I'm not sure but a non-faired 220 should not have those RVM's and should come with the ones that are currently present in 180 or 150.
Fairing vibration was there in 220DTS-Fi (Although I solved mine) but whatever little experience I had on P220DTS-i I found that the vibes are very less but one problem that has continued is front fork lock getting loose when one rides on bad roads (Not sure whether a normal city rider faces the problem or not).

@MG : I have ridden dozen times and I know well about both DTSi and DTSFi...and I am just with P220 owners like Devilpulsarian...
