Lightbulb P220 : S-version coming

Guys, last night got a copy of BIKE INDIA Jan'10 issue & read that Bajaj is almost ready with naked version of P220 to be launched most probably next month but won't be displaying it @ AUTO EXPO. I don't have scanner otherwise would have attached magazine page. The current version of p220 depicts F on its fairing near front indicators which according to Bajaj stands from FAIRED/FAIRING & this new might sport an alphabet S (sport/streetfighter)...

Mods, I don't have link to attached for acknowledement but it's damn sure piece of news here.

News Approved.

I have also read through the news, and I truly believe it's genuine. A naked P220 would be killer with looks like the P200 perhaps! Now, THAT would be something to behold. I just hope that the projector lamp(s) somehow makes it's way to the naked P220, although I doubt that it would.

I am expecting it to have a carb, 4 valves, Projector lamps, new digi console and a new tank... and fully drenched in chrome.
It will make the 220 a terrific performer with 4 valve motor.

some one please post the image atleast taken with mobile phone.

OT: why aren't they updating the avenger ? .
220 cc avenger with 4 valves + carb and chromed cylinder heads instead of aluminium will be great.

This is not really a speculation thread. For that, we have another thread running concurrently.

As for the picture, it looks just like the now discontinued P200 DTS-i, with clip-ons, thick front shocks and rear discs and that 220cc engine mounted on it.
