Congrats on tying the knot. Reading the post presently.
@Titus...

I definitely do remember Thanks a lot for the wishes. So how have you been doing, and how is the riding going?

Would love to plan that trip. And yes, finances permitting.....so which should be my priority now.....saving up for that trip, or for the big bike?

@Aryan...

Yes, very true. BMW really took their time in springing this surprise. But now that they're here, the competition should be really interesting in the days to come.

"Real stuff" coming in a few hours, bit by bit...

Well I could not resist myself but our stories are very similar related to R1, Fireblade and BMW s1000rr.

I have a 2006 Karizma. Got married in NOV, 2009. (This part also almost matches too).

Since the time I heard about SBK's R1 has ruled my mind.
I used to read reviews/camparisons of every magazine and wished the R1 to come out on top. Now when it is on top I somehow developed interest for Fireblade.

And then came the BMW s1000rr. Reading its reviews has completely made me fall in love with this bike.

This is such a dilemma. Being a R1 fan, paying attention to Fireblade and now falling in love with s1000rr. My loyality has really gone for a toss!!

Anyways, Waiting for the rest of the Pics and write up!!
@Rachit...

Hi....and wow...that's a whole lot of similarities there! Yup, the BMW seems to have shifted a lot of loyalties the world over!!! The remaining pics coming soon.

And well, what an interesting thread to put up. European marques would of course form the mainstay of the show with the new Beemer leading the thrust. Waiting to see some more pics and other delicious entries, especially from the flamboyant Italians.

Once again..congratulations and welcome back.
@Old Fox...

Hello there...a pleasure hearing from you, and that too after such a long time. How are you doing? Am mighty glad to be back. And many thanks for the wedding wishes...and yup, lots of fond memories alright.

About this thread, as I've said, I was simply lucky to be at the right place at the right time. Hope you enjoy going through it.

@sheelpriye...

Howdy.......

Have you lost it mister....marriage separating me from motorcycles....NEVER!!! And glad too that your perceptions were wrong!

And yes, I've been noticing how you've been raving about the S1000R all over xBhp...and rightly so. Follow this thread for a lot more on this new bike.

How have you been doing? Got your email about the gear. There was a lot at this show, but nothing was a deal-breaker on the day I visited. Did you get anymore gear from anywhere?

@46wannabe...

Can't blame you or your memory I used to be pretty active before the xBhp server crash, but by the time things came online again, I had somehow managed to disappear. Anyway, as I've already mentioned, am really glad to be back.

@All...

Yamaha & Triumph stand updates now live.

@Simba: Yes, just checked out the first post. As always, LOVED the 2009-10 R1, although you haven't posted many photographs of it.
